@zaininflames I have Elixir 10's on both of my acoustics and haven't broken a string yet tuning up for these kind of songs. If you are having trouble, moving down to 9's would help. If you have older strings that have some wear and rust on them, they are more likely to pop. Good luck with it!
Sorry about the late response. It's different. If you can tune by ear, then the easiest way to tune to those notes is by a piano or you can go to a free online tuner that will play the notes over and over so you can tune to it. I hope this helps.
excellent. thank you. i just discovered this song and want to be able to play it. the crazy tuning would have had me completely lost without the info you provided.
appreciated the warning about tuning up the sixth string.
wasap dude.. i just want to say that your tutorial was good! actually thats the exact chords i was saw from his acoustic concert in youtube! keep it up! more powers!

R u sure it starts at 5th frett 4th string and 7th frett on third string and not 7th frett on 4th string and 5th frett on 3rd string?
xXlamikXx 6 months ago
@xXlamikXx Im left handed and left minded. In this vid I referred to string 1 as the low E and string 6 as the high E which is backwards.

I've broken a couple of strings trying to get the tuning - can I use a capo instead and if so, on what fret?

Hi ok i have a question...
how do you tune it to a C# and all the other notes?
is it just like normal tuning to a C and the other notes or is it different?
