  • wow, crazy catch.

    -a Buckeye fan.

  • when notre dame was relevant.

  • torrey smith

  • That's what you call laying out for it!

  • lol i remember when he was the quarterback for the chiefs.

  • A DI-

  • That sure was a catch....

  • hold on to your old memories. you are a dinosaur. you suck now a days

  • @nickolas233 lol who are you talking to?

  • @nickolas233 can you say 10-2 sugar bowl ???

  • that was 20 years ago this month. seems like last week.

  • 14 people are pedifiles.

  • @Tuebor92 Learn to spell kid who thinks he's cool 'cause he learned a new word.

  • ***********watch: HITLER HATES OHIO STATE

  • Montana to Clark = The Catch

  • @Jonboy207 that catch wasn't as impressive cuz it was a simple catch, all it was, was an important catch, this was a hard catch to make. this is the catch

  • @MichiganFan39 I'm a Michigan fan, but Montana to Clark is one of the most iconic plays in sports history. This isn't of the same stature.

  • @BlackSabbathory the montana to clark was a simple pass and catch. this wasn't, he dove to catch it

  • Comment removed

  • @MichiganFan39 I agree that there was more skill involved on this catch, but Montana to Clark has been ingrained in far more minds. It is seen as THE play that launched one of the greatest dynasties in NFL history.

  • @BlackSabbathory for one its THE CATCH not the play so thats one strike for u. 2 u already admitted that this catch was better so u contradicted urself which makes strike 2. for 3 it wasnt that great of a catch he happened to b open in the end zone and caught an easy pass that ne reciever wit decent hands culd catch. plus its only bigger becuz it was a playoff game winning catch. so in short.... 3 strikes u lose your out of here however u wanna put it.

  • Comment removed

  • By admitting it was bigger you agree with me. My whole point was that more people have seen the catch by Clark than Desmond's. How many people that aren't ND or UM fans remember, or even know of, this catch?

  • Apparently others can't

  • this so cool

  • Ohh to the doubters, Michigan will hail supreme again, and they won't have to pay for it. *COUGH*SEC*COUGH*

  • @MichiganBo u can always say stuff bout the future but for now um sucks GO BUCKS but the SEC thing was funny lol

  • @violenceteacher6669 Hate to say it but the buckeyes are in for some reality. Coach cheater, players gettin paid, the future looks pretty grim at OSU!

  • @harp1925 players werent gettin paid they sold there stuff for a tatt

  • @violenceteacher6669 maurice clarett. troy smith, paid. The recent players sold stuff violating the NCAA, indirectly getting paid while the coach knew about it, a shame. OSU is no longer credible, The Tressel fraud is over. This is the tip of the icebergh, cheaters need to pay!

  • @harp1925 yea like every other school has paid for the crimes they've committed like u said SEC and OSU does one thing and OMFG OHIO STATE's NOT PERFECT and yet u dont hear shit bout auburn or any SEC school WTF?

  • @violenceteacher6669 I say all the cheaters get theirs, Auburn should not have played for anything, if anything is proven. OSU, if they have cheated, pay the price, USC is paying. U of M basketball paid, but NCAA football and basketball rules are a joke. It would take pages and pages to cover the bull within this organization. But OSU is lookin at an investigations, potential big trouble, many cheat, but the ones who get caught pay, that's life!

  • @harp1925 ok

  • @violenceteacher6669 because most of what they said abou auburn was hear say,,,, wasnt actual signed or on paper proof... some guy just said hey he got payed to come here and the media ran with it

  • Michigan is shit now. They should've kept Carr.

  • @tomatoface12 are you really serious carr retired they didnt get rid of him he just retired and he took controll and pretty much lead to the firing of rr

  • Still the greatest catch I've ever seen. Grbac overthrew him by ten yards and Desmond just went and got it. Beautiful.

  • app state

  • appalachian state and michigan.

    let the raging begin.

  • @rstipper Yes, as I understand it, that was the greatest victory in Michigan State football history.

  • Sure would have been nice if he had done that during his pro career.

  • i like how desmond howard is from Ohio but he played for michigan instead.

  • @nomoreheroes567 Charles Woodson is from Ohio too! ha!

  • @spobrocy yeah, because he wanted to pick the better school and come to michigan :P

  • A dive-...

  • its a catch, he caught the ball, hit the ground, where by even his knees touched the ground before rolling out of the bounds..... great catch, and to be honest, i thought the ball was overthrown but it was perfect catch and timing

  • A DIVE-

  • wow nice vid go blue

  • i dont get why he was unable to catch during his career

  • Not being a Ohio State Or Michigan Fan OSU does have Six wins in a row but Michigan has 11 Championships.

  • @buckeast1 usc powning ohio state since 1974

  • "Gyrbac to fire for it....He went for it all...A DIVING CATCH!

  • @buckeast1 How old are you? Grow up.

    God, I hate sports fans.

  • GO BLUE!

  • @buckeast1 you must really have no life if all you do is go on youtube just to make comments on Michigan's videos.

  • @97mgoblue That you excuse, cause Michigan fans can't talk shit.

  • @OSUjunki why cant we? we have won more games than any team in college we have won more games in the rivalry we have more big ten titles and we have the longest winning streak

  • @headstrong420 uh.... Michigan has 8 wins in the last year 2 years, and is 1-8 vs Ohio State in last 9 years. Michigan hasn't won an outright championship since 1947 too.

  • @OSUjunki um excusee me Michigan won the national championship in 1997 and charles woodson won the heisman that year so put that iin ur pipe and smoke it

  • @Michigan4983 Michigan SHARED that title with Nebraska.

I said Michigan hasn't won an OUTRIGHT championship since 1947.

So put that up your ass, take it out and suck it!

  • @OSUjunki the buckeyes r real good i love when they choke year after year and then they make it to the naitonal championship or something and get smacked and in 2002 that wasnt tressels teeam he didnt build them tessel=sucks

  • @Michigan4983 Does it matter who's team it was?

Ohio State won the championship that's all that matters!

Tressel 8-1 vs Michigan........ he must be doing something right.

  • @OSUjunki Yeah but michigan has a better record Vs. SEC schools and the buckeyes r wack they lost and they will never win the national championship

  • @OSUjunki Michigan won the first Rose Bowl game in 1902, has won an NCAA-record 872 games and has an all-time winning percentage of .740, also an NCAA record. 3rd overall in Championships owning Ohio State Suckeyes for life!

  • @alphaomegaMF How many of those championship were you actually for?

  • @OSUjunki Only two but I'm carrying on tradition. BTW Michigan is the only team to beat Tebow in a bowl game. OSU got their fuckin asses handed to them! hahahahaha

  • @alphaomegaMF Ohio State played Florida in a different year so its really not comparable.

Who beat Michigan both of those years by the way?

  • @OSUjunki think about it, osu got fuckin ass raped in the last NCs they have been in!

  • @drew2815 Hey, at least they've been in the last few NC's. Michigan fans are stuck in the past with worthless excuses.

  • @alphaomegaMF You have to be at least 63 years old to been able to see Michigan win two NC's.

  • @OSUjunki Yeah maybe your right, it might only be one. No matter over all record against Ohio State is 57-43-6 You guys got some years to catch up! hahahaha Why are you on a Michigan video anyway thats right closet Michigan fan! hahahaha GO BLUE! Fuck the SUCKeye's!

  • @alphaomegaMF Doesn't matter whats happen in the past it matters what is happening now. Thats all Michigan fans say cause they have nothing else to say/

  • @OSUjunki Actually past dictates future bud and traditionally we have a better record overall than any other team. Well stay tuned... Time for our team to be Juniors then Seniors and the Championships will be coming in again. And you'll probably be on youtube vids about UofM getting pwned like usual.

  • @OSUjunki my question is, why are you even on this video, it has nothing to do with your shit fuck school

  • @MichiganFan39 yea you tell him..Ohio State cheats and deserves and to be removed off college football rights...now i know why we never beat ohio state all these years

  • @MichiganFan39 damn right...

  • @OSUjunki 7-1 retard

  • @OSUjunki

DONT BE JEALOUS FATASS U GOT IT COMMIN IN 2011 WHEN RICHROD IS GONE

  • @majormi1 Ok that's 2011, last time I checked it's 2010.

November 27th is going to be a good day!

  • @headstrong420

    highest winning % too

  • Without Ohio's players, mushigan is like Purdue.

  • @buckeast1

Is this all you do? Stop watching Michigan videos and posting comments that prove you have no intellect.

  • Navyseal in your dreams.

  • it seems high schoolers in ohio like michigan better, sucks for the buck fuckers

  • @buckeast1 then that shows the PRESTIGE OF MICHIGAN! We can go into enemy turf and convert Buckeye blood into Wolverine blood! Hail To The Victors! Also michigan stole a Florida Gator prize recruit Demar Dorsey Go Blue!

  • to say the 95 nebraska team is overrated is the most absurd thing i have ever heard. 95 Neb 49 01 Miami 14

  • the 2001 Canes would have killed the 95 Husker team. Old age can sometimes warp your thinking. That team was so good, the NCAA held them back from playing against Oklahoma so the Sooners could get back on top. FSU got the Nat Chmp bid because Snoop Minnis did not go to class. They knew FSU was not at full strength with him ineligible. Going up against Miami would have been suicide. Miami forced Neb to change their whole football philosophy. I've seen both also, and the 95 Huskers were overrated

  • Comment removed

  • This individual is incredibly illogical, and therefore, I will no longer listen to him.

I suggest you all follow suit, he's an SEC fan in disguise.

  • 2001 miami? come on Oke Sooners 50's greatest of all time

  • I remember this play! I remember seeing Grbac throw toward the end zone, and I screamed, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING??!!" Then Howard caught it. I went crazy.

  • Regardless, the 1995 Nebraska team was by far the best College Team ever assembled.

Tommy Frazier was a beast running the option offfense.

  • >Tommy Frazier was a beast running the option offfense.

You never saw Ricky Leach, did you?

  • 2001 Miami was better in most every aspect of the ga,e. You hear 95' Braska and think of Tommy Frazier. You hear 01' Miami and think of Ken Dorsey, Clinton Portis, Willis Mcgahee, Frank Gore, Andre Johnson, Ed Reed, Johnathan Vilma, Phillip Buchanon, Jeremy Shockey, Reggie Wayne, Kevin Beard, The unstoppable O AND D-line, and last but NOT least, Larry Coker. 2001 Miami would destroy any team in College football history.

  • Go to Wikipedia and look up 1901 Michigan Wolverines.. You're in for quite the surprise my friend.

Point-A-Minute Team is the greatest team to ever grace the field. Hail To The Victors!

  • It's hard not to appear to be the "greatest team to ever grace the field" when you play such powerhouses as Physicians & Surgeons and Albion College.

  • lol good one

  • Fielding Yost is a football GOD, i hate losers who think their team is the shit, plus that 1901 team never got scored against

  • agreed

  • fuckin haters !!!! i totally agree that the 1901 wolverines are still the greatest sports team ever. that point a minute team was undefeated, untied, never scored upon. and in the rose bowl that year, the team captain walked over to the michigan bench while losing 49-0 midway in the 3rd quarter, and offered his teams surrender.

    THANK YOU d2thelux !!!

its good to know that every college football fan hasn't lost their fucking mind.

  • Comment removed

  • @D2theLux

    where do i bow down?

  • i'm with dillon1278 on this. the 2001 miami team was the best college footbal team to ever step on the field. i mean, just the fact that 21 of their starting 22 players ended up getting drafted says it all. on top of that, all three miami running backs are now prominent nfl players (mcgahee, portis, gore). willis mcgahee, a future nfl starter, was the third string running back on that team! ed reed and sean taylor was arguably the best safety duo in college football history.

  • getting drafted doesn't mean that you're better, it just means that you got drafted.

i got to see both teams play, and you are obviously younger so that tells me that got to see just miami play.

So, after that little tid bit, trust me; The 1995 Nebraska team was FAR better.

  • Can u imagine what the score would be if this 09' Gators played this 97' Cornhusker team??........it would be like 65 to nothing at half! haha

  • in favor of who? if it was '97 U-M vs. the '09 gators it would be 14-14 in my opinion. Who knows we could blow 'em out, maybe

  • haha.....I'm amazed at how much college football has evolved. Neither the Michigan nor the Nebraska teams in 1997 could hold a candle to the champions of today.

  • what????? That Michigan defense of 1997 allowed only 8.8 points per game.

what the fuck kinda crack you smoking???

  • allclear1981 today is decided by computers that calculate wins and a little bit more stuff. U-M should've won the title and can beat UF in the process 65 to 0 U-M final

  • I think one of the biggest evolutions of college football is taking it from standard def to hd. I think you'd be surprised if we could match up one of those teams with a modern team.

  • @allclear1981 bold statement

  • god i almost cried i was laughing so hard when i saw all you nebraska fans on here 12 years later...(bitter much)

you dont know who would have won. shut the f up. i bet you also put money on app state beating them too right?EEVVVERY ONE saw that coming. NOT. your not a prophet so can it. when people think 97' they think michigan and you cant handle that

  • not taking away that you guys had a good team that year but i still think nebraska could have beaten you by atleast 2 TDs our offense was better than your defense to bad it wasn't proven

  • @darthhvader This is one of the most illogical arguments I've ever heard

  • Nebraska would have beat michigan in 97 period you michigan fans can talk your shit but we beat the number 3 team while what was washington st? 12th and you beat em by 5 pts was it? yeah o boy!! talk what you want nebraska defense and offense would have worn em down to bad we never got to see it

  • Geez, first he makes up lies, then when he gets busted resorts to slander. Well, wouldn't be YouTube without em. Ummm, no game was refused, no game was scheduled, just like with all 3 co-champions

  • Oh brother.....

  • Michigan showed class and never lobbied for anything. Nebraska whined and whined and whined. Then Tennessee (who Nebraska just clobbered) whined and whined and whined over Woodson (greatest College player I ever saw) winning the Heisman over Manning. Ugh, it was sad to see Michigan have to deal with such crying while they stayed so classy.

  • @SeanP7195 Let it go, it was 12 years ago

  • "Nebraska quarterback Scott Frost openly lobbied Coaches' Poll voters for support based on performance comparisons between Nebraska and Michigan, also mentioning Osborne's retirement. The voters apparently agreed, as Nebraska was ranked #1 in the final Coaches' Poll, while Michigan retained their pre-bowl #1 ranking in the AP Poll, creating a split National Championship."

  • *yewn*

Anyone who lives outside the state of Michigan knows who the real national champion was that year. Nebraska would have easily dominated Michigan in a head-to-head matchup, but the Michigan Wolvereens refused to face the Huskers in bowl season. LMFAO. What a joke. Woodson wasn't even the best CB that year, statistically. Peyton Manning was robbed of the Heisman. FACT.

  • who was the best CB then? who jumped 12feet in the air to intercept msu who ran back a punt for a td against osu who picked wr's and a qb would never throw to woodsons way

  • Yawn indeed. Winning the coaches poll is like kissing your sister, It's alright at first, until you realize what is happening.

Osborne retiring doesn't equal national championship, no matter how much his fellow coaches wanted to give him a retirement gift. Should have gone with a watch, it would have been more genuine than the 'gimme' title.

  • Yeah, but everytime he lined offensively; WOODSON SHINED!!! I saw him do what he's doing to this day in high school. That guy is a pure athlete and he deserved the heisman.

Just too bad peyton manning played his last year the same year woodson played on the NC team of 1997.

  • Yeah, because then ESPN and the Big Ten-controlled media wouldn't have been able to pimp their Heistman darling to conspire against Peyton.

  • Tennessee fans are still bitter, it boggles my mind.

The Heisman is awarded to the BEST player in all of college football, the best athlete: Woodson played EVERY side of the ball, and led his team to an undefeated record and a National Championship. Can't really argue with that!

  • Michigan won the AP poll over Nebraska by 51 1/2 votes to Nebraskas 18 1/2. The coaches poll (I already stated the sympathy vote in the final week for Osbourne) was 32 for Nebraska to 30 for Michigan. Michigan was #1 in all polls leading up to the Rose Bowl and should have won the Championship outright. No #1 team has even went into the final bowl game and won (especially over a highly ranked team) and not been given the title. The only "consolation prize" was to Nebraska.

  • app state

  • i see it on every one so im wondering, do people go around finding videos of michigan just to say app. state and toledo? lol..thats really sad my friend, get a life

  • SPECTACULAR!! Wish we had Desmond for the ND game this year!!

  • Almost as nice as Armanti Edwards' touchdown run against MU in 1997!

    Go App St!

  • 1997? Who's MU?

  • Didn't MICH win the national title in 97?

  • No, Nebraska won the title in '97.

  • Nebraska and Mich were Co-Champions in 97'. Nebraska got the huge push at the end once Osbourne announced retirement.

  • False. Nebraska won the coaches' poll in 1997, which is the "big" one, and led in the coaches' poll all year. Michigan won the consolation prize, which was the AP Poll. There's a reason that the BCS doesn't take the AP into account -- it's meaningless. Nebraska won the '97 title outright.

  • LMFAO, well I better get my money back for those National Champion shirts I have. No dude. It was a Co-Championship. Its in the NCAA record books. Nebraska won the coaches poll only because Osbourne announced his retirement a few days prior to final voting. I believe the change was something like 35 coaches changed their votes. I've never heard of a "big one" or anything like that.

  • 3-9. Go Toledo! GO app state!

  • his college days were far superior than his professional ones

  • MVP of a Super Bowl isn't bad, fool.

  • whatever elvis grbac sucks ass

  • why is every great catch called the fucking CATCH

  • the U!!!

  • Yes, they were winning, but it was 4th down in FG range. They were risking the game to put it out of reach. The catch was insane and epic when it happened. He goes from even with the defenders and blows by them to get it.

  • Huh? Doesn't matter if his elbow hits, it's still a catch.

  • It means he trapped the ball, which isn't a catch.

  • Boy, you really don't know the rules very well.

It's a trap if the *ball* hits the ground before he has possession. The elbow has nothing to do with it. You can even be lying sprawled on the ground and make a valid catch.

  • Or, alternately, you are a huge homer who has no idea what he is talking about.

  • Michigan led by 17-14 before the catch..... wasn't that great, just any ordinary catch, robiskie made one just like this int he fiesta bowl, the only difference was that it wasn't for a touchdown.

  • Dude, notice how that guy's name is Haterishere. Coincidence? Maybe...but I don't think so. Don't let these fuckers get to you though.

  • hahaha!

  • @HaterisHere Maybe they should change their name to the Suckeyes. Who names their team after a stupid nut anyways?

  • @HaterisHere No, the buckeyes just suck and choke under pressure.

  • @HaterisHere it is easy to hate bucks when they spew their ignorance wherever they go

  • @HaterisHere shutup dumbass, you honestly sound more dumb with every word you type

  • Anyways Michigan had the lead before this, so this "catch" isn't really memorable at all, it's really only memorable if you're losing, there are catches like this all the time, so calling it THE 'catch', is pretty stupid.

  • There are schools like Ohio State all over the nation, so calling it THE 'Ohio State University' is pretty stupid.

  • What do you meen all over the nation? They have the only person to win the heisman twice. The ONLY person.

There are a lot a schools like that.*saracasm*

  • It doesn't matter if his elbows hit the ground. as long as the ball has never hit the ground and had 1 foot in.

  • @HaterisHere hahahaha youre retarded buddy. look up the rules before you talk.

  • @HaterisHere boy ur dumb

  • @HaterisHere

dude are you retarded? you can be lying down on the ground and catch teh ball with your feet and its still a catch.

  • 1 word legend go blue fuck osu

  • i'm a notre dame fan...but i do like it when he says....,"THEY WENT FOR IT ALL"!! HAHA

  • Michael Crabtree: The 'New' Catch

  • 42-7!!!!

  • GO BLUE!!!

  • wtf does whoa nellie even mean ROFL.

  • How SWEET was that catch?? Whoa, Nellie...LOL!!

  • nice catch you will hadly ever c that again
