I disagree, as I believe that it's all related to reigion. I myself am in Jersey (EAST SIDE!!!), and around here I can name like 20 different fantastic bands with recorded albums, and none of the members are out of highschool. I was about 20 km from Filipstad. But I've been many times in Sweden, everywhere apart from the far north. Maybe I didn't notice it, but I think that the mentaity is much better than in Germany. Have you ever been to Germany?!I love the swedish landscapes. You've got some kind of wilderness that is definitely missing in Germany. Spent my holiday reading Thoreau at a lonely lake, walking through the woods, fishing, canoeing, eating canelkringlor (or so) and I even saw a moose! Wonderful!

Thats very we go to by large quantities of alcohol sometimes cause they don´t have high taxes on alcohol. Well we often go to denmark it´s the same deal but less cheap. Anyway If you americans would really interact in the swedish society and see how awful it is you would get panic. there is a great social wellfare but according to me it has done more harm then help.
