I don't know if I wanna buy a Stihl or Husqvarna. I think that Husq's are lighter with faster rpm's and Stihl is heavier with lower rpm's. Not sure what way I want to go. Correct me if I'm wrong please. But maybe I should get both.
I still like the stihl's better becuase that is what i use for forest fires! i hat husky! I had one last year and it was no good! I still like that 440ms and 460ms by stihl!
@rngrchad Thanks. Yes, they are around down around .050 - set for softer wood. Interesting, of the 390 vs. 066 comparsions (even one 288 video) I have been involved in the 390s always win. The factory 660 porting #s are lame for torque. Not to mention the porting and crankcase design on the 390s is far superior for flow.
@rbtree Thanks. You are right - I did not want to get this chain in the dirt. It was cutting way to sweet. With that in mind, the 390 & 395 are probably cutting the same according to your times except the 395 has a longer bar & it cost WAY more to get the 390 to where it is here. The advantage would be more pronounced with the 395 in large diameter cuts & say a 42" bar.
Please time the runs in the 288XP Redemption video.
