Many people paraphrase that. When they paraphrase it sacrifices accuracy. However it is still more honest and accurate then being hysterical and saying that global warming is man-made. Man might be a factor but it's small, probably infinitesimal.

Analogy: Technically a rain drop attracts the earth to the raindrop, however that is absurd way of putting it in a normal conversation. In a normal conversation it would be better and more accurate to say that the earth's gravity attracts the raindrop. To say global warming is man-made, is like saying the earth falls to the raindrop.

It's not necessarily a good thing to slow "global warming". The last time surface temperatures increased was the medieval warming period. The medieval warming, was one of the most prosperous, richest times for man. Technology crops and populations boomed. Itsacorporatething I put "theory" in parentheses because what people often refer to as a conspiracy theory isn't good enough to qualify scientifically as a theory. At best most of the liberal conspiracy "theories" our hypothesis. This is the way the Left "thinks"--cute polar bears (who will rip you apart) and funny penguins instead of FACTS. The fact is there has been zero warming in the last decade; and the last year saw a temparature drop overall that wiped out a hundred years of warming.
We won't even get into the Medieval Warming period cos the UN does not recognize the existence of the years 900-1300.
