yes we do enjoy dressing up for the formal nights. This is what's wrong with people today.....lazy! When I was growing up we dressed for dinner EVERY night. If you don't want to dress then go to the Windjammer Cafe' and stay in your shorts
If you do not enjoy dressing in Formal Wear you should cruise on a different cruise line. There are several that do not have formal nights now. As for Royal Caribbean it is still mostly traditional cruising. Some of us like to put on our formal wear and have nice dinners on the sea. This is a highlight of a cruising for some and lots do enjoy it. My suggestion is if you don't like it ,book another cruise line.
I also liked dressing up for it. It really felt like a special moment when we did that. But the ones I was going with (On Vision of the Seas btw) wasnt in for it at all and would MUCH recommend not having to do that again... and I find that so boring with em!
