  • I FOUND YOU.! Watch you for years. Never knew who you was. Would see small takes of you in videos, and would ask everyone who is that. Good job well done.................

  • damn this cat turn gay as fuck or what? What happened Poppin' Taco Bell? U look and talk soft, blond highlights and earnings on both sides and the gay motions just makes my strong suspicions! WTF......

  • omg i saw a vid of taco doin a pop lock routine, then a while later i saw MJ doing a similar poplock routine and was like man these cats movin and doin danm near the same thing. well now i know why

  • Yeah! Daniel, Daniels you know who I'm talking about.

  • @HaNavi512. He may have been in the movie Breakin in 1984, but Soul Train came out in 1971. Guys were popping in the mid 70s dude. Check you history and find out who Jeffrey Daniels is..... Just one of the best dancers of all time and he taught the backslide or as you may know it.... the Moonwalk to MJ.

  • That's BULLSHIT! You are lying. Jeffrey Daniels showed Michael Jackson the back slide AKA the moonwalk and introduced him to popping way before this guy ever thought about or knew about popping was. Just lookup Jeffrey Daniels and watch some of his interviews. JD was in a group called Shalamar and he was a Soul Train dancer in the 70s.

  • @darrock747 Before This guy knew what popping was?? LOL

This guy was in the movie Breakin in 1984. I'm sure he knew what he was doing.

  • @darrock747 Jeffrey Daniel not "Daniels" he does not like the "s" at the end of his name...he told me this and others during a workshop (I have a video on my chanel and pictures with him on his website). We talked for quite a while with him and I also met Suga Pop earlier this year and Mr. Wiggles...meaning I am in touch with the influential figures of hip hop/funk styles and I know quite a few things about the history of the dance.

  • @seiya2008 The Electric Boogaloos introduced popping on Soul Train in 1980. Among them, Poppin Pete who later taught Pop 'N Taco the art of popping. It is true that JD collaborated and taught MJ the backslide, but JD got it from watching the EB's themselves on Soul Train. There is not only JD or any other single guy who should be credited for having taught MJ some techniques and moves. There are a bunch of other people.

  • @seiya2008 CORRECT!.

  • MJ took private lessons from Suga Pop in 1982 (watch the Westwood interview with Suga Pop), Pop 'N Taco, Poppin Pete, Don 'Campbellock' Campbell, Michael "Boogaloo Shrimp" Chambers as well as the Nicholas Brothers. He took lessons from other people too trying to learn and perfect his techniques as much as he could. JD and the EB's respect each other quite well (watch Jeffrey Daniel at the Breaking Convention as he gives a shout out to the EB's).

  • @seiya2008 Pop 'N Taco back then was a member of the EB's and spent quite some time to teach MJ popping and his famous snaking style (King Cobra). So, whatever he says in this interview is accurate and everybody in the dance community agrees with that.

  • @darrock747 Yes jeffrey Daniel and another guy called casper taught Michael Jackson

  • @darrock747 You're wrong.

  • @darrock747 But Jeffery Daniel learnt popping from the Electric Boogaloos, of which Pop N Taco was a member. Jeffery is not the be all and end all of Michael's style, I would argue that Taco had a much more profound influence on MJ's style given the extent to which MJ uses snaking, cobra, waving, and animation.

  • I met Bruno here in Houston, TX back in '81-82, he was w/ Michael "Turbo" as he was called in Breaking. Bruno was visiting a relative and talking the movie Breaking, took a couple photos which I still have, He's still the best popper I've ever seen!!!

  • @faraon001 Wow...how cool is that...Michael "Boogaloo Shrimp" Chambers is one hell of a dancer and a great guy too...so lucky...you might want to share your pictures on the "Bruno "Pop N Taco" Falcon - Officiel" Facebook page...that would be awesome....cheers

  • What you all need to understand is that Michael was not a popper. His style had a few of these move integrated into them but he was not a pop locker. You could see Fred Astaire, james brown, Jackie Wilson and pop lock all rolled into one. These guys are pure pop lockers that's it. Michael was a pure dancer that even mimicked animal movements and mimes in his dance this was something those pop lockers lacked where he shined

  • Just a thought: Ford invented the first automobile....Is it the best car ever?

  • aww Bruno! ive known this guy since i was a lil girl.hes my best friends uncle :) he still "pops" around the house randomly! suuuuper nice guy.

  • @St0nerBitch420 Really? How lucky you are. Amazing. I sent one of my friends to train with him recently and yes he is still as magical as ever. Indeed a very nice guy too. Cheers

  • @seiya2008 Where did you send your friend to train with him? Is he still in Europe? I would love to learn from him. He is the best. Taco is my idol.

  • @BootyClapn he s in LA now, i have a few friends who went and trained with him, when they come back, they speak of him as he s a magician...

  • yes for sure popping taco was one of michael jackson's dance teachers, as was poppin pete.

  • yes for sure popping taco was one of michael jackson's dance teachers, as was poppin pete. trust me this is my error :)

  • yes for sure popping taco was one of michael jackson's dance teachers, as was poppin pete

  • Well the electric boogaloos came out 10 yrs ago and spoke of teaching Michael. Then mj perfected their moves. I've seen a lot of people now saying this and that. Taco is awesome not sure how valid this story is.

  • @Bluetedevilassassin This story is valid. Suga Pop repeat it in the Westwood interview. MJ took lessons from the EB's, Original Lockers, Dancers from Soul Train. Taco was a member of the EBs back in the days too. MJ selected moves from all of his dance teachers, performed them with his own flavour and style, and mixed them with some of his own moves.

  • @Bluetedevilassassin its very valid son !

  • @Bluetedevilassassin If u wanna know how valid this story is look for footage of poppin taco filmed before michael started to do these kinda moves, for example the movie Breakin'...

i am a huge fan of MJ and he is my main inspiration but as a hip hop dancer and passionate i have to give their due credit to the Electric Boogaloo s and specially taco, if u look at the way MJ pops, it s poppin taco all over it s impossible not to see it, he must have been an excellent student... :-)

  • Micheal Jackson had a dance teacher??????????

  • @Omari1125 Yeah check out the movie "Breakin" you'll see Poppin' Taco ripping it up

  • pop n taco is a legend, look at his style and his old fashion, so many things MJ copied from him. not hated, i love MJs music

  • @breaklock i agree with you !!!! everything you sad are right ... !!! TACO is the LEGEND !!!

  • fucking silly motherfucking dickhead lier bastard claims he teached all dance to michael and ghost bla bla bla just fuck off piece of shit you are nothing and Michael Jackson is the greatest of all time just suck some balls dickheaded poppin moron

  • @TheBladeozan You know, there is this Legendary Boogaloo dancers (heck i forgotten their group name) that actually taught Micheal many moves. this guy is probably one of other teachers that taught Micheal - that i doubt he tuaght him anyways. before you even say anything. research about micheals dancing and the history of it. He just made moonwalk famous, alot of his moves came from them boogaloo poppers

  • @BBoy2Galoo it doesnt matter this guy acts like a dick and lies big time about some musical fundementals that he told to michael he can just fuck off

  • @TheBladeozan LOL, yeah.

  • @BBoy2Galoo Their name was the electric boogaloos

  • @Knightman234 yeh, along that line

  • @TheBladeozan what the guys in ths vid is tru....shall i prove it yes....watch MJ in smooth criminal after they do the lean its a poppin segment they do afther that keep your eye on the guy on the front right thats the guy from shalamar that supposedly taught mJ everything....then start over from the lean and focus on MJ. then restart that segment and watch poppin taco in the front left....you can see where MJ get his poppin style from...still dont this so watch the movie breakin

  • @TheBladeozan and youll c where MJ gets his snake style of poppin from...imma die hard MJ fan but you cant hid the facts that when i comes to poppin it wasnt something he picked up and ran with he was taught....ive been poppin 4 14years....and my style i adopted from MJ and poppin taco....face facts

  • Damn didnt know dude was gay

  • Sorry, but Michael did a lot of this kind of thing BEFORE this guy came along.

Jackson 5 *Locking* back in the 70’s

    watch?v=tICestGPPbs

Just some of Michael, doing Robotic dancing back in *1974*

    watch?v=Mj71HPMSOsY

    watch?v=wu2EAZn-Cb0

    watch?v=m7EPvorKbsk

Michael never studied /focused on, or created just one dance - he did many, and was also a good tap-dancer.

  • @tonm08 mICHAEL DID ROBOTIC DANCING in 1974, and was "created" in 1970`s because of Electric Boogalos! !!!!! those styles were born in the clubsssss

  • @pamdanceehh

Yes, I know about Boogaloo Sam - think he got the group together around 77, some time after being inspired by watching 'Locking'. As I have said under another video, many of these dance moves actually came from the streets first, then into the clubs and so on.

MJ, as well as doing the likes of locking and robot back in the early 70's, also "created" his own moves along the way, which was the real point of my post. He was born to dance, as well as sing.

  • @tonm08 this guy is a fucking lier he didnt taught michael the all,and he claims he thought him some sounds aswell JUST FUCK OFF LOL

  • @pamdanceehh sry, the funky robot in 74 he learned from Bill "Slim the Robot" Williams, from the group "the lockers"

  • @tonm08 yea but you only showin locking and bottin vids...MJ struggled in Poppin and you can c it in his vids compared to original poppers

  • @MrMarvel0us “MJ struggled in Poppin and you can c it in his vids compared to original poppers”

That is a matter of opinion? And you have your's.

I have *never seen Michael Jackson struggling with *any kind of dance he did. That is my opinion - formed from my observation. Michael Jackson was a perfectionist. Fact! He would never have *performed* a dance routine that he was going to *struggle* with ...That is not how he worked his performances!

  • @tonm08 like i was saying before if you take a look at MJ next to poppin taco in smooth criminal you will c where MJ lacked the techs of poppin and popper will tell you that it wasnt until years later where he started hittin harder and poppin harder..and even then MJ poppin still had some weak spots....i dont bash on him because it was not his main style he was very universal...but to say he was a perfectionist to the style of poppin is overboard...

  • @MrMarvel0us - What are you on about now? You're looking way too deep into all of this!

Poppin, Floppin, Hoppin - I don't care for all the deep stuff regarding this style of dance; It doesn't matter much to me. All I know is, I’ve never observed MJ struggling or looking awkward during any kind of dance routine he has done & I simply didn't look at anyone else & compare moves; eyes always fixated on MJ’s dancing.

MJ was well known for being a "Perfectionist" when it came to all his work.

  • @tonm08 MJ was a perfectionist, but he was not a dancer of the urban dance styles, what I mean by that is he couldn't take and dance nothing but waving for 45 minutes, he couldn't tut for a half hour and do nothing but..what mj did was take specific moves out of entire styles and executed them on a level that nobody could, because of how much of a perfectionist he was. MJ was great in taking what he learned and owning it, however he lacks originality which is only in the minds of innovators.

  • mj was taught and the men who taught him could out dance him period! They were more diverse. So what if their backslide wasnt as smooth so what if michael could execute a few moves better them what happens when he runs outta moves? Michael wouldnt last more that three rounds against any real dancer in todays society. Worlds best entertainer, worlds best backslide, original moonwalk, but not worlds best dancer...

  • @1ReaZon: Huh? What's all that got to do with my comment?

    1. MJ DID have his own “originality” (self-created) moves & in more than dance!

    2. If MJ had wanted to do ANY of the above for however long, he could have; he was very fit & all he had to do was what the others did - Learn a specific dance & train at it. There was a time those dancers needed to learn & train that style of dance too.

MJ didn’t train *specifically on one style of dance, so your comment is neither here nor there.

  • @tonm08 You don't understand the complexity of the dance in which 1ReaZon is referring to. Just because MJ can do an arm wave does not mean he can out-dance a waver. You obviously are not a dancer yourself, nor do you know the history of the styles, because you don't seem to get what he is saying.

I am a huge MJ fan, I love his music and dancing, but I know that there are many dancers out there that can out-dance him in a battle.

  • @1ReaZon Dude you really are assuming. Michael had BEEN dancing LONG before he was michael jackson. He's an entertainer so of course he is going to focus on moves that would be in his shows. But you can't dispute his natural ability to dance. I mean come on. He had been dancing back in the Jackson 5 dance long before he met the so call guys that "trained them". Who doesn't learn from others anyways?

  • @fmcneillii him*

  • @fmcneillii No actually I'm not assuming anything. This is fact. I my mentors trained Michael and although Michael was practicing before he began training with the E.B.'s , Taco, Bam, Daniels, Etc. these dances weren't exsplosive in the mainstream at that time, so Michael could have been perfecting these dances. Michael caught on fast yes but he never developed into each style. Michael can't wave for 45 minutes, tut for 45 minutes, strobe, or any of that for any real length of time

  • there is no assumption. I've done my research and I know The REAL HIP-HOP and Urban Dance styles individually. I know the difference in choreographed dancers, feeling the music, freestyling, all of it. Michael was not overly developed in any one style. I've trained with the men who trained him, as they are my mentors. Michael is the #1 ENTERTAINER IN THE WORLD not the #1 DANCER PERIOD. Learn some shit before talking to me.

  • @1ReaZon Finally someone who actually knows their history! :) MJ is an amazing dancer and entertainer no doubt, but credit needs to be given where it is due. I get tired of people who assume MJ just created everything and is an absolute master at every style. Popin Pete even told me he tried to teach MJ boogaloo but he couldn't get it, the rolls did his head in. MJ was just a normal guy who struggled like all of us to learn these very difficult, yet amazing dance styles.

  • @fmcneillii Yes, Michael has been dancing since his career began, but the point here is that the unique MJ style of dancing that he is famous for was heavily influenced by the emerging styles of popping, locking, and hip hop. The guys who taught Michael the majority of his most famous steps are the originators and pioneers of these styles. Michael didn't create any of them, he just brought them to the mainstream.

  • @tonm08 Are you a dancer? How can you tell from your observation if you don't understand what he is doing?

MJ makes things look a lot easier than they really are, and I have seen him do moves that are not completely accurate, because I know the actual way they should be done. As for performing only 'perfected' routines - most of his routines are simplified versions of popping/locking choreography, so they are by default much easier than the real version of the routines.

  • is there anywher a full version of this video ??

  • @BaaNeeStyle Yes, the full documentary is available in two parts in dailymotion...just type "un stage with Taco"...all the best...

  • @seiya2008 can u please send me that link couse i seriossly can't find it ..

  • @BaaNeeStyle I just sent it to you via email...I hope this helps...cheers...

  • I am a great fan of Taco and MJ but I dont buy everything mostly when its show business so I may sound cynical but everything isnt clean. They are both tremendously talented in their art, and I do respect their commitment in their craft but believe me it is a real waste!!

  • to TheJcue,

Hello, i didnt mean to be offended to Bruno or to you, I agree i kinda sound bitter in my comments because I know the guy. It's just I feel sorry to see such a talent to be wasted. My purpose is not to ruin his reputation, my purpose is to be objective and to say everything is 'not so clean' behind the stage . I can tell you people who knew him personally during the history world tour and during 2000s would unfortunately confirm my version.

  • you sound like a hater?????????????????????????????talkin shit about somebody like that real pussy move put what person problem you have with on the internet instead of talkin to him like a man

  • Taco is a real wreck now, he is staying at his sister place, broke financially , only with some booze to make the matter worse!! I hope Bruno will read my message and face reality, this guy couldnt manage himself : he would waste all his money in a single nite partying and boozing, he kept on cheating people and their money, it seems this guy only trust the people who would exploit him, how tragic it is!! This is the reality of the business folks so wake up!!

  • Taco said to people he quit Mj, because of the statue and because he is catholic, but for me it is bullshit, i am sorry for the fans but i am still great admirer of Taco but i want to put things into perspective, Taco had cheated a lot of people , he is not honest at all , his personal managers and pseudo agents could confirm my version. I think he had disappointed many people who candidly trusted him (the michael Jackson effect) but the one he really cheated was himself!!

  • I would like to post some video from his performances in France ( one hour it is in vhs format) plus some private teachings he did to salah in California ( around 30 mn it is jpeg format), plus hte dvd electric boogaloo (40 mn). If someone can help me, I'd like to share these videos on youtube, i have a private sequence back in 2000, where he shows his incredible waves and his amazing side floating ( only 5 minutes from my camera). Help me please!!

  • Anyway, he is the greatest poppin dancer in the world, even Michael doesnt match him at all!! But Michael had more style, he had some soul Taco doesnt seem to have in his dancing. I would say Taco is perfect technically, MJ lacks of technique but his genius comes from his creativity, he has a story in his moves , a live soul that Taco doesnt have

  • Neither Taco or Mj copied each other, Taco was there to teach Michael the popping robot style and as Bruno Taco told me they were both creating. For the MTV1995, Michael had created the CHarlie Chaplin walk, showed it to Taco to enhance it with some poppin in it .People who met Taco seem to compare Mj success to Taco, but they seem to forget Michael was genius in his voice, his looks, his video, his performances, Taco is genius in dancing. I think Mj deserve his fame

  • I am sorry to tell you this but the guy was broke financially and in others fields and that was a fact . I kind of feel sorry at first, but knowing the guy, then i started to realize the guy was a real clever manipulator with people. I think he had cheated many people and sorry to tell you the good guys that he was fired by Mj after he left a ' diva ' hotel bill to the Michael Jackson Account.

  • hello i know poppin taco since 1999, he stayed in my house for over 3 weeks,

he didn't like to talk about Michael too much, but he was kind of angry and bitter about him( like all the people that got fired from Michael.)Anyway , i just want to share my feelings about this guy , the guy is a nice guy but he was very manipulative with others people, mostly if you were a jackson struck fan.

  • i wish the interview was longer .. great footage !

  • @MisterSicOne Hi there, thank you very much for your nice comments...this is the only part of a longer documentary in which he specifically talks about MJ...you can watch the full doc on dailymotion called "1 stage with Taco"...cheers...

  • @seiya2008 nice , thank you , i will def check it out :)

  • Popping Pete said once: They say my Popping is phenomenal, just because they never saw Taco doing his popping live!!!

  • @hilfrazao Everybody should print this out...incredible statement about Pop 'N Taco...thank you very much for this...

  • This is a weird one but after studying Taco for years now and in particularly seeing him doing the MJ impersonation, it makes you think that he is not impersonating MJ but doing himself cause the two of them have mixed each other's styles and formed it so it weird but anyone who thinks JD or anyone else was MJ's main influence dance wise... then they fucking retarded cause this guy right here you can tell was the real deal!

  • @BillieStingJean Exactly, one of the guys in the full documentary said out loud that Taco does not imitate MJ, but it is more likely the other way around...and yes, they might have exchanged a lot of moves during all these years...Pop 'N Taco was and is still the real deal...Taco and Mj everyday...all day...cheers

  • @seiya2008 True, in all respects but we cannot forget Michael Jackson doing roundhouse spins, tap, james brown and fred aistaire moves at age 8 and up, doin' robots in 72' and up, doin' what other dancers couldn't do, like Taco and even Taco knew Michael was a sick ass dancer to boot with, he'd rip you on the floor. Both amazing dancers, thanks 4 the amazing footage when I see Pop N Taco, i feel alive and ready to fucking dance!! :D

  • @md0206 That is correct...a friend who had a workshop with Taco said that when they had freestyle sessions with the EB's and Michael...well...Michael was definitely there and killing it at the different styles of popping...amazing...good to hear that makes you wanna dance...keep it up bro...cheers...

  • @seiya2008 Only dumb retarded fucks who can't dance say Michael Jackson isn't a good dancer, he was one of the best and Taco wouldn't cross that either, it shows a remarable respect. So yeah I'm growing pissed about all these so called funkstylers thinkin' Mike wasn't one of the best, he was and he would annihilate you on the floor.

  • @md0206 Nice one...and yes, respect was the word among them...another bad thing that is happening more and more after he passed away is the increasing number of people who pretend to teach MJ's dance style and they do not even know what popping and locking are...they are here just to rip money off the people..Fortunately, a few people like Ramady from Secrets of Moonwalk are doing a fantastic job out there...check his video called "Ramady: Dancing like Michael Jackson 2007"...Peace...

  • Hey Seiya2008, I've read your message and I've answered it, ok? God bless you!

  • @hilfrazao Excellent...thank you very much...I've just replied to it...speak to you soon again...cheers

  • ...............Max respect 4 Taco!

  • @SeNsOdELLaViTa Max respect indeed...cheers for that...

  • Pop 'n Taco was the MJ personal dance teacher, choreographer and adviser for 18 years and everybody who works, likes or simply understands the world of popping, know that! So that's why I think Taco doesn't get bothered about all these MJ teaching talk!!! As you wrote yourself, we can clearly see the Taco's influence in MJ dance when he executes his King Cobra and the famous "robotic" walk from Billie Jean not mention the sidefloats and other moves. Where's the others' influence? God bless you

  • @hilfrazao Hi, thank you for your reaction. I like this kind of exchanges. As you pointed out everybody who is in touch with the world of popping knows that Taco taught MJ plenty of stuff...but, the people who do not know anything about popping or simply dancing are easily fooled these days with so-called Mj dance teacher or choreographer...I will inbox you a video of a so-called Mj dance teacher and you will see what I mean...by the way, did you get my first message? all the best...

  • 2 - Seiya2008 ... If I put these footage online, I'd never have the opportunity to have others, again! (Or my friend)!

God bless you my friend !!!!

  • @hilfrazao I understand...no worries...god bless you too and take good care of you...cheers...

  • 1- Seya2008. You can be sure that he is dancing better than never, but nowadays Taco is not performing professionally, he prefers to stay at home so is rare to get hold of footage! But he gives classes for those who want to. Taco told to the guy who is my friend to not put these private footage of him on youtube or online, cos this is a way for him to make money. Taco tells the same to all his pupils, to use these footage just for private viewing and we have to understand...

  • @hilfrazao Thank you very much for all these useful information...And yes, I guessed he wanted to keep his privacy...I respect that...But, the problem is nowadays too many people set up MJ dance classes everywhere since he passed away and too many others are claiming they worked with MJ...it is not the truth and these people are making an awful lot of money out of it...This is why having footage on line of the EB's, Jeffrey D, others and especially Taco teaching MJ will change lots of things...

  • Yeah! There's a friend of mine who always goes to California to have classes with Taco and he told me that Taco is well and he is dancing better than never!!! My friend has showed me some photos and Taco is well indeed! He planning to travel to Califonia next november in order to have more classes with Taco. I saw a 2010 footage with him and he is really the best Popper ever!!! Peace friend!!!

  • @hilfrazao Oh my freaking god...I cannot believe it...thank you so much for providing details about Taco and I am really glad to hear he is well and still dancing...he is pure magic...I want to bring him for a series of workshop in the UK so badly...if you have these pictures and footage of him from nowadays, I am sure it will create a huge stir in the community, you should put them up on the web...Also, I desesperately need some footage of him personally training MJ to complete the truth. Peace

  • @seiya2008 You can find footage of Early bad, and thriller dance practice sessions, aswell as Captain EO, you see Taco and some other EB's in a hangar poppin' showing off some moves, they were with Michael's crew atm, working for him. :) So yeah don't need proof, this is a fact. haha

  • @md0206 Hey, thanks a lot for all your comments...but this is only known to us, think about the millions of people who do not know a thing about dancing and still think MJ invented the backslide...the footages you are talking about should be put up online and any other footage that shows MJ being taught by them...cheers...

  • That's the truth ! Tacos is a master !!! I have this doc vid !!!

  • @hilfrazao Hi and thanks a lot for your comments and enthusiasm...I hope this extract will spread the word about the true masters and who really shaped dancing as we see it today...Taco all day...take care...

  • nice clip dude. love mj and taco. where can i watch this doc vid?

  • @kanelee Thanks man. Good to hear you like the video and you are also a Taco/Mj fan. You can watch the full doc on dailymotion entitled "un stage with Taco". I will upload it here soon. Cheers...

  • thats right!

  • @MrIndow Thank you...I hope more people will know about this now...cheers
