They had no business in placing an embargo on Cuba to begin with. This is the reason why Jamaica and other nearby islands to suffer great economic losses thanks to them imposing themselves by buying up mass property all in order to keep the so called threat from Cuba at bay. @mayito714 It's far more sinister than that.The U.S blocks deals Cuba makes with other Latin American Countries.They Lobbied the EU not to trade with Cuba also,it is only Spain that does so. They will have to lift the Embargo now because China have more or less pitched up on the island and are building tonnes of stuff.Oil refinerys , mines and Hotels and golf courses i was there last month .I saw it.

@Elgranchiquitin I myself believe that they blame the embargo as a tactic to make you believe that they are poor due to the USA. Thats why they still drive 1959 cars when the country still had a middle class like the 1 million Cubans here in Miami. What Cuba really wants is "CREDIT" from the USA.
