@nextbestrockstar that's the point. The Hammer pants, the grunge. All the forms of expression were VARIED and different back then, whether you liked it or not you could still poke fun at it. Now a days the athletes are very cookie cutter in style and expression. They let their paychecks and their tattoos speak for who they are. That may appeal internationally for the time being, but it has become dull here in the states.

Not many companies would be calling them to make a commercial because they are boring. As far as present day 'funny' commercials, I'll give it up to the Lebron and Kobe sock puppets.
