Laura and Michael shouldnt leave the show. Kristin can leave it as she has said on season 7 finale. Laura most be saved from the phantom zone and michael should at least appear for one episode to show how he is becoming. But is a cool idea to have doomsday in the show.

Okay I love Smallville,But i'm not so sure they should have another season because of there loss of characters.Kristen Kreuk,Michael Rosenbaum and Laura Vandervoort are all leaving the show.Leaving Tom Welling,Allison Mack,Aaron Ashmore and Erica Durance. Only 4 characters! And the Doomsday and Tess idea is dumb! There new and have one season to become enemies of Clark. Also the creators of the show left!

I don't mind Michael leaving. I just hate how they handled Lex's end for Smallville. I think Kristin should've left a long, long time ago. I'm not too bothered about Laura leaving, but dissapointed at how they handled her. I don't like the idea of Doomsday and think Tess should've been Mercy.

Well, Kristin will be back for 5 episodes since she had to agree to it. She missed 5 of them this season, so if she didn't have to do the Street Fighter film, she would've been gone for good too. I'd be happy for Michael to come back to have a good ending for Lex. But, he's tired of shaving his head. I don't know why the writers didn't give him a good one when it was known for more than a year that this would be Michael's last season. I fear Doomsday and Tess will take focus away from Clark.

This show keeps getting worst and worst! Now that they lost Lex, they is no need for it to go on! The writing is terrible! The producers/ creators bailed on it too! That's never a good sign! They wasted so many good actors such as Michael (Lex) and James (Brainiac)! Next season should be its last and should be dedicated to Clark's training to become the man of Steel! That's it I'm done!

I agree with some of what you said. There is a need to go on. AlandMiles left because it would cost too much for them to stay. The budget will be lower and CW doesn't have much money. It was known for more than a year that Michael would leave. The writers screwed up with giving him a proper ending. Brainiac is most likely still alive and James has expressed interest in coming back. I doubt next season will be about Clark becoming Superman with all the news that's come out for next season.

At 0:13 to 0:16 it has Clark in the arms of Lex, this may well be the moment where Clark enters the fortress and wakes up to Lex holding him, because Lex controlled Clark and told him to enter the fortress and Clark did only to realise Lex had the power to do it, and the scene follows on.

in smallville clark and lana are meant to be together - that was how the writers have had it since the pilot. that's what the many lana fans want. we count for a huge part of the audience, and i'm positively sure if we didn't watch, the ratings would go down the tubes, and they would have cancelled the show long ago. they don't continue shows where the viewers are few in numbers. many shows have gotten cancelled in the u.s. due to poor ratings.

lana is a superman mythology character; chloe does not exist. kristin was hired to play clark's love interest. allison was not hired for that role. lois also can't be paired w/ clark in smallville b/c she only loves superman, and clark doesn't become superman in smallville. the cw needs the lana fans. i kid you not when i say that MANY shows in the u.s. have been cancelled b/c of low ratings. we count!!!!!!!!!!!

Chloe obviously has saved Lana. It has nothing to do with Jor-El. Allison is still in negotiations for next season and might not come back.

I never said Lex would die. Michael already said last season that this season would be his last. And a few days ago he gave his official statement and goodbyes. You can Google it. He wants to move on and do films and probably theater.

Smallville has nothing to do with Superman Returns, story-wise.

Do you know anything about Superman? Lex and him are archenemies. They will never be friends. And we already know Lex and Clark won't be ever again on this show.
