This is a great application for both the iphone and your main computer. I know feel very secure. I have different and difficult passwords for every site I go to, and all my bank info and other information such as software keys and other data is encrypted.
And filling in information at web sites has never been easier.
Agile has always done good by me since I first bought 1Password a year and a half ago, and their email explaining things makes sense, so they get the full benefit of the doubt from me.
I agree! 1Password is easily worth many times what is charged for any of it. I depend on it to protect at least 40 passwords -- a small price to pay to avoid dealing with the massive expense of identity theft with SO MANY websites we must use passwords with these days, allowing me not to have to repeat passwords. Do what you gotta do Agile Web Solutions and ignore the whiners. Hmmmph.
They have said that the regular edition will be getting the basic copy and paste feature in near future, but other things will differentiate pro future.
Funny but untrue. Think about it this way: if this was the case, why would we simply not rename the original 1Password to 1Password Free and never update it again? That would certainly have made a lot more sense if we didn't care about our users.
The truth is we have been planning the Pro version for a long time, and sadly, we had to rush it and needed to remove a few of the key features.
I have to say I'm not concerned that certain features have been left out of its current Pro release. Agile Web Solutions news letter stated that the other Pro features will added later and free for anyone buying the pro version now. If one thing is true, Agile has always lived up to their statements and supports their customers with care.
At first, I too thought that this was a bit of a raw deal. But after thinking about it for a second, I realized that this app is so integral to how I function on the web that it's actually worth 5x that amount.
As any long-time mac user should know, there is a difference between actual value and perceived value.
Not sure what I think about paying extra for copy/paste. Really not a great move. I've really enjoyed using 1Password on my Mac/s and iPhone though, but still.
Fire up 1password, select your login and hit edit to edit your password info Then highlight and copy that text and go back to Safari to paste your password in. It's a bit of a pain but a good free solution.
The update is nice though and I will most likely buy it!

@daveteare
So with 1P touch pro, is there an option to create a separate unlock password (e.g. 4 number passcode) than the desktop version of 1P

This will be fixed soon.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
lol if thats the case why did you point out you had to leave features out of the pro version?
because you know the pro aint really worth it as it is.
Secondly cant you report the guy who forced you by gunpoint to release the pro app without those left out features to the police hmmmmm
