Perhaps the reason why you are repeating it for an hour is the fact that you are trying to land your message within the 90 minute REM sleep cycle (when we dream). Maybe it doesn't have to actually be a full hour?
Based on my research into the occult, I've found that words/phrases are lost unless they are charged with an energy. For example, "Call me its ____" is more effective when you visualize yourself sending the feeling of importance/whatever along with your message.
I agree with you. Although I originally was just following the book directions (sort of) it was not until a documentary called sleep telepathy (formerly on youtube/now a book about experiment) made me think it is easiest to accomplish if you hit a persons dream/REM sleep as you suggested.
It also fits with people telling me they dreamt me telling them as opposed to just getting a feeling.

I do it all the time, my mind is kept in shape with study and reading, I smoke cannabis, I was always holding a cell phone and my friends , I don't have a lot! would answer or reply to my thought. No, Im not high! and it happens all the freaking time, and NO I can;t control it!
@RichLOAguy Just as possible as quantum entanglement, probably the same phenomenon- I just have difficulty from experience believing the world is any more "all good" in imaginary dimensions than in real ones. Cool technique. I believe it's important for all people to wake up to the fact that this is possible. It's funny, a lot of people will believe that dogs and cats and other animals in the wild do this all the time. But those same people have a hard time believing that people can do it too. Go figure. @zoeyjusko I think the best results seem to be if you can tap into someones dream state based on other experiments I have read about. I do not aim for that though, i just do for the hour. I think telepathy is used constantly on an unconscious basis, so think it works well on awake people. Maybe practice getting people to phone you or grab you a coffee on their way over.
Imposing your will on people has to be a bad idea if you don't understand what sort of person they are in the first place. The potential for mind-rape means mental firewalls need to exist, and general ignorance means sometimes these walls will go up even against positive influence. Is never as cut and dried as the hippies make out. Mayhaps this is why the world is so fucked, with a soaring divorce rate, trillions of pounds of debt etc. People just take what they want even if it's wrong to do so.
@GeneralHPBastardo My belief is that we construct our environment based on the expectations of everyone, and we are constantly in communication with everyone telepathically. Sending messages though seems to work better if sending to a friend who would normally accept your call. Non-friends can ignore your psychic call as there is psychic "firewalls" in place. This experiment is a simple way to prove it is possible. Believing in telepathy can be HUGE, and opens doors for belief and study.

This really worked for me!. I did this for a girl that i really like. I tried this while going to sleep. I probably spent no more then 5-10 minutes repeating a few sentences in my head while mentally picturing her face. Then first thing in the morning she messaged me saying Hiii.

OK, I NEVER and I mean NEVER beli8eved in telepathy. In my mind it was complete nonsense, BS,pseudo intellectual garbage. Then I met my best friend. I make no money from this? The only endorsement I refer to is Harold Sherman book, and he died decades ago. This is an experiment that is very easy to do, and is meant for people to do themselves. this is very true...and i was doing it without even knowing it for awhile..if you just think about the person constantly and with deep pashion and you believe that the person will...say text you for instance..it ends up happening. its very strange, but we're all connected somehow in a spiritual sense..people around you can feel the energy that you give off

I would love to know the how and why also. It is not accepted as science as our scientific model will not allow extreme probabilities as proof. Science went a few million years without discovering radio waves, I am sure we may need another few lifetimes to answer that. Currently scientists enjoy ridiculing the possibility more, and that's why this experiment is very important. You will have proof to yourself.
@RichLOAguy its an esoteric practice, so if your not comftorble with the idea then don't do it, but if you try and have a strong will it will work. you might not be able to know if it worked though unless you get a response. I use telepathy all the time when i want people the shut up, but telepathy is a subconscious message, so if someone is being very conscious they will not pick it up, if someones sorta dosing off they will much more likely pick it up, or at least get an influence from it

The husband felt guilty and took her to her family for care. He didn't visit her. They had small children thah needed dad to take them to see mom, but he would avoid it. The accident has passed a year ago. I met her when I visited her family and some names came to me. I asked who those names were, and they told me they didn't know.

On my way back, I visited the family and they told me something quite otstanding had happened the next day after I left.

If the reciever gets the messege; do they actually hear the sender repeating the message , or just a general dream about the sender? i dont want my ex to dream about me saying that for an hour.. that would be wierd. I believe it is the emotion and overall visualization that makes us feel how we do when we receive. Such repetition and emotion during visualization is necessary to amplify the thought being sent. If you get a WTF text the next day then you are gifted above average. I have felt like the sender was present in the room with me.

I really believed and was convinced that she would get my message that I am at a bus stop, I am here, waiting for her. Well, nothing happened, I went on the bus away however the next day she texted me "are you at a bus stop?".

I believe this experiment will help convince people that we are a part of "all that is". When we look at everything current science writes off as rubbish, it is hard to imagine a time when science will recognize this. So, I followed your instructions. I did it with a photo of the person, repeating the message for the whole hour, between 1 and 2 o'clock at night. I wanted her to contact me. Unfortunately nothing happened the next day. I'am a believer of esoteric, but being psychologist I'm also a strong supporter of more controlled researches in paranormal and the idea of this experiment sounds very reasonable. But no results. Any ideas how to improve it from experienced persons are highly welcome.

Perhaps if its just an experiment to prove it to yourself experiment with someone who is expecting it, but dont tell them the night you are going to do it. This was the nature of Harold Shermans first experiments. However I did achieve great results on my very first try using the method i prescribed in the video.
There was a highly controlled (now off youtube) study called "dream telepathy, secrets of sleep". Outside researchers influenced subjects dreams with hits defying 75 000 000:1 odds. It is possible that you need to affect a dream to get successful outcomes. I swear to repeatable success. Thank-you for trying. Sad it did not turn out. So, it turns out that, even though I didn't try it for a full hour (probably only 15 min or so), my subject told me on the phone that he did dream about me the two nights that I tried it. He couldn't remember what the dream was, but he did wake up thinking about me.

As you are doing it and looking at the picture,also focus on a moment you had together and feel as if you are there in that place again with them..it may be some thing like ("A few short words sitting at a table together" )And also feel as if they are really there with you and you can touch them...etc

I agree. The one hour is to kind of pound the single thought in, and is a beginner experiment. My main goal was to show people a simple method that works, mainly for those who have doubts, because it does challenge what we currently believe scientifically. Once scientists start believing, then maybe we can gain a little more understanding as to the why/how it works.

I think you can sense when the message has gone through, and become more relaxed after about 40 minutes. I basically repeated the method popularized by Sherman. One Hour worked so well, I never thought to change it.
that trick happened cause although the 'subject' is asleep, he/she can still notice the surroundings(especially an hour) as our natural instinct... works with people and SMART animals (oni those in deep sleep may not)
You know, some religions say that our bodies are extremely gross and impair many of the spirt's natural properties, and they also say that during sleep our spirit temporarily releases itself from it's fleshy bonds (which makes sense if you consider common dream themes like dreaming that you're flying and dreaming of dead people). If that's true then it only makes sense that these properties work better when we're asleep. I'll definatley give it a shot and I'll comment if it works.

Cool technique. I believe it's important for all people to wake up to the fact that this is possible. It's funny, a lot of people will believe that dogs and cats and other animals in the wild do this all the time. But those same people have a hard time believing that people can do it too. Go figure. @zoeyjusko I think the best results seem to be if you can tap into someones dream state based on other experiments I have read about. I do not aim for that though, i just do for the hour. I think telepathy is used constantly on an unconscious basis, so think it works well on awake people. Maybe practice getting people to phone you or grab you a coffee on their way over.

Imposing your will on people has to be a bad idea if you don't understand what sort of person they are in the first place. The potential for mind-rape means mental firewalls need to exist, and general ignorance means sometimes these walls will go up even against positive influence. Is never as cut and dried as the hippies make out. Mayhaps this is why the world is so fucked, with a soaring divorce rate, trillions of pounds of debt etc. People just take what they want even if it's wrong to do so.

@GeneralHPBastardo My belief is that we construct our environment based on the expectations of everyone, and we are constantly in communication with everyone telepathically. Sending messages though seems to work better if sending to a friend who would normally accept your call. Non-friends can ignore your psychic call as there is psychic "firewalls" in place. This experiment is a simple way to prove it is possible. Believing in telepathy can be HUGE, and opens doors for belief and study.

Ya I had some weird racing thoughts 2dai, never had thoughts like that before kinda weird. This really worked for me!. I did this for a girl that i really like. I tried this while going to sleep. I probably spent no more then 5-10 minutes repeating a few sentences in my head while mentally picturing her face. Then first thing in the morning she messaged me saying Hiii.

@Cachinans19 I was friends with the girl. She moved to Rochester NY from Toronto Canada without telling anyone. She was a bit of a "wild child" and was posing as a gf of a gay man.
I feel bad that you have not had as dramatic results as some. You may wish to try this with someone closer to your network and speak to them the following morning to see how it went.. Wake them up at 3am or something. Perhaps that confidence boost will allow a clearer message. She was my 1st attempt.

She and I live 160 miles apart, and in the past week we have been able to send each other messages that helped us at exactly the right time. I make no money from this? The only endorsement I refer to is Harold Sherman book, and he died decades ago. This is an experiment that is very easy to do, and is meant for people to do themselves. I would love to know the how and why also. It is not accepted as science as our scientific model will not allow extreme probabilities as proof. Science went a few million years without discovering radio waves, I am sure we may need another few lifetimes to answer that. Currently scientists enjoy ridiculing the possibility more, and that's why this experiment is very important. You will have proof to yourself.

@RichLOAguy its an esoteric practice, so if your not comftorble with the idea then don't do it, but if you try and have a strong will it will work. you might not be able to know if it worked though unless you get a response. I use telepathy all the time when i want people the shut up, but telepathy is a subconscious message, so if someone is being very conscious they will not pick it up, if someones sorta dosing off they will much more likely pick it up, or at least get an influence from it

The husband felt guilty and took her to her family for care. He didn't visit her. They had small children thah needed dad to take them to see mom, but he would avoid it. I repeated I AM GOING TO GO VISIT GUILLERMINA, and I MUST GO VISIT HER, NOW. I AM GOING TO VISIT HER, and I AM TAKING MY KIDS TO VISIT THEIR MOM. for about 10-15 minutes at a time. On my way back, I visited the family and they told me something quite otstanding had happened the next day after I left.

If the reciever gets the messege; do they actually hear the sender repeating the message , or just a general dream about the sender? i dont want my ex to dream about me saying that for an hour.. that would be wierd. I believe it is the emotion and overall visualization that makes us feel how we do when we receive. Such repetition and emotion during visualization is necessary to amplify the thought being sent. If you get a WTF text the next day then you are gifted above average. I have felt like the sender was present in the room with me.

He dreamed of one. If your still skeptical...this was four weeks ago...I was commuting back from work and one of the stops was at a university where I knew this girl did track and field. I really believed and was convinced that she would get my message that I am at a bus stop, I am here, waiting for her. Well, nothing happened, I went on the bus away however the next day she texted me "are you at a bus stop?".

Lots. Telepathy, got stuck at 3:00 AM locked outside my house, tried telling my mom telepathically that I'm outside. Nothing, rang the door bell. Next morning they were pissed but while I was washing my hands my mom said "it was SO strange...three minutes before Alex rang the doorbell, I SWEAR I knew Alex was outside the door! I believe this experiment will help convince people that we are a part of "all that is". So, I followed your instructions. I did it with a photo of the person, repeating the message for the whole hour, between 1 and 2 o'clock at night. I wanted her to contact me. Unfortunately nothing happened the next day. I'am a believer of esoteric, but being psychologist I'm also a strong supporter of more controlled researches in paranormal and the idea of this experiment sounds very reasonable. But no results. Any ideas how to improve it from experienced persons are highly welcome.

Perhaps if its just an experiment to prove it to yourself experiment with someone who is expecting it, but dont tell them the night you are going to do it. This was the nature of Harold Shermans first experiments. However I did achieve great results on my very first try using the method i prescribed in the video.

There was a highly controlled (now off youtube) study called "dream telepathy, secrets of sleep". Outside researchers influenced subjects dreams with hits defying 75 000 000:1 odds. It is possible that you need to affect a dream to get successful outcomes. I swear to repeatable success. Thank-you for trying. Sad it did not turn out. Harold Sherman books gave me original methods I copied.

So, it turns out that, even though I didn't try it for a full hour (probably only 15 min or so), my subject told me on the phone that he did dream about me the two nights that I tried it. He couldn't remember what the dream was, but he did wake up thinking about me.

The methods of telepathy are induction, visualization and will.
First induce the emotion, image or desire that you are sending within yourself first. Allow yourself to be experiencing it at that moment.

This video is great but 1 hour..i dont think it needs to be that long.The steps to telepathy are #1 BELIEF #2Physical Relaxation #3 Mental Relaxation #4 &Visualization...WHEN you are repeating a message the message must have meaning and passion behind it and you must feel it.

I agree. The one hour is to kind of pound the single thought in, and is a beginner experiment. My main goal was to show people a simple method that works, mainly for those who have doubts, because it does challenge what we currently believe scientifically. Once scientists start believing, then maybe we can gain a little more understanding as to the why/how it works.

Whenever I get a text message on my phone my ears move right before I get it like I'm waiting for it, its pretty strange because I know it happened but it's hard for me to believe thats what really happened. I must have sensitive ears.

has someone ever happened this to them that your about to slepp and u start dreaming as soon as u close your eyes but u can open your eyes. its a weird expirience:P so u hav 2 choices stay with your eyes close and continue the dream or wake and the dream fades away it happpened to me 2 times i woke up cuz i was having bad dreams in the 2 occasions XD

I feel that I have telepathic powers & I can put images of photos/pictures I look at/think of into the minds of other people.This includes people I do not know. Sometimes,when I am half-asleep,I get images and voices of people I may or may not know in my mind. I am convinced that I am not dreaming all this,but am recieving random telepathic messages from people.

this actually worked..a friend who hasnt talked to me since the beginning of the year..she wouldnt respond to me..i would call and she wouldnt pick up her phone..and today she left me a message how she missed me..i believe this method works!! :)

I think you can sense when the message has gone through, and become more relaxed after about 40 minutes. I basically repeated the method popularized by Sherman. One Hour worked so well, I never thought to change it.

that trick happened cause although the 'subject' is asleep, he/she can still notice the surroundings(especially an hour) as our natural instinct... works with people and SMART animals (oni those in deep sleep may not)

You know, some religions say that our bodies are extremely gross and impair many of the spirt's natural properties, and they also say that during sleep our spirit temporarily releases itself from it's fleshy bonds (which makes sense if you consider common dream themes like dreaming that you're flying and dreaming of dead people). If that's true then it only makes sense that these properties work better when we're asleep. I'll definatley give it a shot and I'll comment if it works.
