  • The "all life is sacred" argument is bullshit. It's the same argument used against abortion. Nothing about life is magical. If the life of a human fetus is not as important as the life of a mother, than the life of a human child is more valuable than a veal calf. We make decisions on what is worth protecting based on a number of factors, and a cow doesn't cut it for me. If the meat industry is excessively cruel, vegetarianism is an ineffective tactic anyway.

  • I don't think the worst thing is eating animals, but rather keeping them in tiny cages and make them have crappy lives. I don't think veganism is so easy for everybody, as he makes out to be. Not the best example myself, but I think it's more important if people just start by eating less and better, non-mass-produced meat. but Idk, could be wrong..

  • Denis Leary, I'm afraid you're not the world's biggest asshole, anymore. This dipshit stole your title.

  • I love how some will be the first to cite "human nature" when defending their personal practices, yet will ignore that "human nature" is also rape, war, greed, and the psychological capacity to evolve past those things.

  • > As Morrisey said once "Nobody can come up with a good arguement for eating animals- nobody ." And the risk of developing heart disease among meaters is 50% higher than among vegetarians, enjoy your pound of flesh for it comes at a very high price for you and the earth and future generations to come. It simply can not carry on the way its going.

  • Eating meat is destroying our Earth, in a 2006 UN report scientists said the meat industry creates more greenhouse gases than all the cars, trucks and planes in the the world combined. And shockingly, one single hamburger uses enough fossil fuel to drive a small car 20 miles and enough water to for 17 showers. And the meat industry is a major cause of pollution in the UK, while consuming huge amounts of grain, water ,drugs and pesticides ( which the meater consumes). >

  • I think meat eaters and vegetarians forget one thing. We breed animals to eat.

It's not like if we stop eating meat, we will be run over by animals. At the same time while eating meat, we're not really reducing the numbers of said animal. It's not like we go out and kill random animals, reducing their population.

If anything, us consuming meat is what helps the species to survive. I'm not arguing for one specific side, just wanted to make that point. Correct me if I'm wrong please.

  • Oh do stop trying to be "Holier Than Thou".... I like to eat meat, you dont.... get over yourself!

  • @broom2000 "i like to eat meat" really, animals like to live but dont worry about that, your tastebuds are far more important . Its not a matter of being "Holier than thou" its a question of ethics, which dont seem to enter into your thoughts. Be honest, you were one of those half hearted veggies who did it because it was fashionable, if you ever were one , which i strongly doubt.

  • @permaveg i did it for 15 years in an attempt to be fashionable? No, i did it for 15 years because A) i didnt like the thought of an animal dying for my stomach, and B) i didnt like the taste of meat, and i hate to disappoint you but it wasnt half-hearted... for over 15 years NO type of meat or animal in any shape or form passed my lips. And then for reasons i would rather not speak about, i tried fish and chips, and guess what...... i liked it, and so i continued to eat it!

  • @broom2000 I find it odd that in 15 years you never fancied fish n chips, what made you give up and enjoy putting dead animals in your stomach? Do you know?

  • @permaveg yes, i do know, but like i said i would prefer no to speak about it here.

  • @permaveg and in all those 15 years i never once tried to force my opinions on any meat eaters, or look down on them simply because we had different opinions on meat eating..... perhaps this is something you should try!!

  • @broom2000 you said "we had different opinions on meat eating..... perhaps this is something you should try!!". Most people are against killing and eating other people. But maybe there are some people that like eating human meat and obviously there are people in the world that kill other people. Do you also think I should tolerate this because we just have different opinions? There are some things I can't accept because killing any animals (including humans) will always be wrong

  • @pollubis go and fuck yourself

  • @permaveg And while we are at it, what do you suggest we do with all the animals that we would no longer eat if you had your way? Will YOU pay for their up-keep? Will YOU look after them, and house and feed them and tend to them when they get sick? Will YOU cough up the money for this? Or, will YOU leave all these animals to starve to death, or die slowly from disease?

  • @broom2000 Dont try that desperate ploy of we must keep eating them or they will be everywhere, do a little research into what these animals mostly eat. The biggest diseases in battery chickens for instance comes from the way man treats them. Do you eat organic meat? or are you a party to the abuse that goes on in our farms , what does your money you buy for meat go to? Do you have ethics when you buy your meat?

  • @permaveg Well, what do you suggest we do with all the millions of animals we stop eating? How many of these pigs / sheep / chickens / cows will survive the first harsh winter without our help?

  • Aw man that broke my heart , when he said animals are like children they run to us for protection. It's so true I see that in my pitbulls. But I love eating meat. :(

  • i was veggie for 15 years, but just got fed up with it..... fish and chips tastes much better than lettuce

  • @broom20 Lettuce? You survived on lettuce for 15 years? You "got fed up with it"? any thought for the animals?

  • @permaveg no, have you any thought for the vegetables?

  • @broom2000 I am communicating with you, so a little .

  • How good is bacon!

  • If animal abuse is like child abuse, then most animals themselves would end up in prison. When was the last time you saw a Tiger eating a veggie burger?

  • @maltavmalta Animals attack, kill and eat other animals to survive. The majority of human beings, present company excepted obviously, have the intellect to make a choice. Try and talk like a Human Being.

  • I think that Vegetarians have got it all wrong. We were clearly designed to eat meat. The proof of this is that it tastes so fabulously good.

  • @johnwolcot my knob would probably taste good with a bit of gravy on it, do you wanna eat that?

  • @CopyriteInfringement I'm not so sure I'd enjoy eating that. I meant delicious meat like chicken and beef. I don't think we were designed to eat each other! Also, a lady at work told me that the sort of teeth we have proves that we were designed to eat meat. So stick that in your pipe and smoke it!

  • @johnwolcot oooo a lady at work told you..then it must be true

  • @CopyriteInfringement Yes it must be true as she is very knowledgeable, having been on Family Fortunes and Bull's-eye back in the eighties. You don't get on high level quiz shows like that if you don't know much. Apparently Jim Bowen said she was one of the most intelligent ladies he'd ever met.

  • @johnwolcot haha well shit if Jim Bowen said that about her and then she said we're all designed to eat meat...I can't argue with it.....I need some bacon

  • @CopyriteInfringement

Can I fry it with a little garlic first?

  • @johnwolcot

    Read this:

    michaelbluejay . com/veg/natural.html

  • Have you ever heard about food chain? We can kill to eat, not for fashion. There's some issues that should be corrected. Some people kill animals simply for fun, or just for fashion. Because its good and its cool and of course its style. That what i condemn.

  • Sure. Animals look to us for "protection", except for lions, tigers, wolves, bears, pitbulls, cheetahs, rhinocerouses, elephants, hyenas, sharks, mosquitos, leeches, and about a thousand other species who look at us as "lunch". If they would eat me when given the chance why shouldn't I preemptively eat them?

  • lol I'd like to see Morrissey protect a wild animal...

  • Kind of abnoxious and in your face. I'm not a vego but if I was and a public figure at that I could do a better job of convincing people.

I'd appeal to peoples rationality rather than pure morality and be like 'look the meat industry itself is literally disgusting, if you just eat LESS meat and choose better quality maybe pay a bit more for the privelage if you can rather than just taking if for granted it would do the world and your body better'...

    not hard AM I RITE?

  • I ate so many fuckin animals last night it was glorious. I ate them because they were inferior to me and eating them was the best, most efficient way to make them useful to me. I ate them just like I'll eat you Morrissey-loving hipsters in the corporate world. See you anon.

  • @HammerOvThor go back to 4chan. Pathetic shit

  • @NewtonKari Absolutely not pathetic. What's pathetic is this pompous ass trying to elevate his status by chosing not to eat meat.

  • the one thing that separates us from every other species in the world is that we have the power to save them.....and so far, we've failed. i became a vegetarian on my 13th birthday and i feel like i may have saved a life.

  • @Smallville357 Do you eat/drink any dairy products?

  • @dartmoordog

    why?

  • @Smallville357 I just think it is a very reloevant question. OK, put it another way, why are you a vegetarian?

  • @dartmoordog

oh haha. i just think its so cruel....we're all children of god so what gives us the right to bully each other....bully meaning kill. i think we're all equals on this earth but obviously others dont share this notion which saddens me coz you will never see anything as beautiful as an animal in the wild....i went to south africa last year and saw a father lion, a mama lion, and 3 cubs. possibly the most magical thing id ever seen and i cant imagining hurting something so pure.

  • @Smallville357 if that father lion saw another father lion's cubs, he'd eat them. C'est la vie!

  • @jonomeehan

but thats because they dont know any better....animals are like children...as he says...they dont understand...but god's given us our brains to help all the other species and we're not.....we have the power to make up our minds...we know how these animals die...we know how much they suffer...yet we still continue to murder them....its outrageous.

  • @Smallville357 You're better than me than, because I eat meat!

  • @HammerOvThor

    o...kay? then stop??

  • eatin animals is not like child abuse morrisey. I like your music but...that was just a silly comment. I respect veggies as I think you are all strong people with fantastic morals who have a great perspective on the world, it is you that are keeping so many animals from being used to be turned into food beacuse they are there to live a free life. I wish I could comite to that veiw point but I think we have to just accept that some people eat meat and some others. It doesn't make us pre-historic.

  • Straight after watching this, i went and made myself a bacon sarnie. AHHHHHH

  • so do we protect the animals from the other animals that eat them? where will it end morrissey, tell us please

  • Vegetarianism is as imposing as religion, it seems.

  • Human beings are omnivores we have evolved that way....get over it vegos

  • its just out of the question for most people to get enough protein being a vegetarian. now if our society as a whole was vegetarian, it wouldn't be so difficult. but because we aren't, it is. Infrabuse I won't begin on who unintelligent you are. we are also animals my friend. its not a conscience that should keep us from eating them, it should be our intellect telling us its wrong. not because we feel bad.

  • @PissedPlayinPimp its not for my health, i dont care for environment. its the fact of a dead thing that was born just to be tortured not killed but tortured and eaten. most of america is brainwashed to think its ok. so dont worry your not the only brainwashed person bro.

  • @PissedPlayinPimp i agree pissed pimp. i can go 24 hours without having to eat slaughted flesh aswell.

  • try telling all the starving people in the world they cant eat meat because its cruel lol

  • @aimeelouise1988 yeah. they dont have a choice. do what you can to survive. but i garuntee 90% of americans will choose a greasy dead cow burger over a salad.

  • @SkateBumYeahh I usually choose salad over a burger, but i order it with chicken, gotta have my protein lol

  • @jirdimaster understandable.

  • @permaveg you're very judgemental aren't you? you must be a christian! you're a vegetarian which is up to you and I applaud that but please refrain from critisizing me due to my unwillingness to abide by your lifestyle choice. That is all. Peace be with you. now cue your childish retort!!

  • @permaveg Ahh you're a self righteous cunt as well then, my life, my choices OK?

  • @TheGibson5150 Not really, its called ethics. I dont have to try and communicate with you sort of mentality, but i choose too, "my life , my choices OK" i hope reincarnation exists and you come back as a pig ( of course you have a bit of evolving to do yet to reach pig level), and you find yourself in a slaughter house being kicked, punched, fags stubbed out on your head, hope shines eternal.....Time for your predictable insults now, yawn!

  • I dont need a self righteous, arrogant prick such as him to tell me what to eat. Will someone punch that into him please?

  • @TheGibson5150 You should lay off the raw meat, it makes you sound like caveman.

  • Yes but HONESTLY do animals REALLY look to us for protection? Maybe dogs, but somehow i dont think pigs or cows do... and yes as it has already been pointed out, animals all eat each other, we are only animals at the end of the day and so maybe it is slightly unnatural for us to be vegetarian, just a point.

  • @LarsBars222 You obviously don't know what you talking about, first type in factory farming.

  • Why isn't he a vegan then? They pump cows for their milk. Doesn't he get pissed at that?

  • Comment removed

  • i would love to see morrissey trying to convince someone who was abused as a child that eating meat is on the same level

  • I hate myself for being a carnivore. But meat is so good ;(

  • the Moronssey doesn't think that one doesn't "choose" to eat meat. It's our family that chooses for us, when we're about one or two years old. One doesn't choose his childhood or the food one eats at this point of life. Maybe it's morally wrong, but after 20 or 30 years of eating meat it's very difficult to stop.

  • @mazingerZful

Why don't you stop shifting the blame to someone else. You really follow what your parents do and say religiously for 30 years?....You have some serious identity problems then.

I will concede that people are influenced by their parents, but once we reach adulthood we are all consciously able to make our own choices. This is a question of your personal weak will power, nothing else.

  • @LA7777777777 I'm not talking about parenthood here. It's about the HABIT OF EATING MEAT, after 15 or 20 years. It's difficult -at least for me- to stop it, simply because i'm used to it. That's all. I eat meat to survive, to keep on living, not because i enjoy killing animals (like that idiot Prince Charles). By the way, do you know any culture that doesn't eat meat?? What would happen if scientists discover that vegetables are sensitive beings??? What will Moronssey eat? His own shit?

  • @mazingerZful I agree with you that it is not an adjustment that is easy to make, and it comes with an endless amount of peer pressure.

India is one culture that predominantly doesn't eat meat, there are even states, such as Gujrat that is entirely vegetarian. Although I am not sure what that has to do with the argument exactly.

Feels slightly embarrassing explaining this to you, but vegetables don't (and will never) have feelings/ability to feel pain/emotions - So pointless debating it.

  • I like The Smiths, but when it comes to this, Morrissey can fuck off.

  • @kuksugare88 If you kill your animals you gonna eat yourself, you shall be entitled to eat meat. Else, you are fake.

  • @SimulacronX You make a fair point. I do think that factory farming is a load of bollocks and that kosher/halal meat is particularly bad. The shit they put those animals through is terrible. And I wouldn't mind going out hunting. It would probably be more humane for the animal than the treatment they get in a capitalist society. It would be great to live in the middle of fucking nowhere, with a rifle and a house you built yourself.

  • @kuksugare88 Great, I totally second that...

  • @SimulacronX We can grow fuckin' beards and talk about Nietzsche and Kierkegaard and Darwin and Dawkins and all that fantastic shit.

  • @kuksugare88 Sure, why not - time is the key

  • i disagree, animals lack a conscience. and life isnt so fucking dandy anyway. life in and of itself is nothing. conscience is something.

  • So...is Morrissey saying it's NOT cool when I kick my daughter in the back for overcooking my steak?

  • Comment removed

  • "Animals are like children, they look up to us for protection. We should protect them."

  • I'm not a vegetarian but why do so many meat-eaters choose to write ass-hole comments on videos like this? Is it meant to be funny? Perhaps the first guy who did it was (I'd argue against even that though), but after him everyone else is just a crashing bore.

  • I ate a burger while watching this video.

  • I still think that what PETA said about Rihanna was totally called for. How can a person who was beat down and portrayed like a victim go and wear ridiculous fur coats made from innocent animals. $%#@ that!

  • @MannyMahnwel

    my sister looks like rihanna.

  • He proves a valid point when he says that animal abuse is like child abuse. Animals are innocent and they can't vocally or physically protect themselves, just like children.

  • Man, I really want some KFC right now. Fucking delicious.

  • @EricAndMusic Way to troll the conversation idiot. Using such an oversimplification is like saying all Americans are overweight and close-minded. But I guess this point is going to be lost on you. Just think about it man! Is this how you want to go through life? Does this violence and bloodlust represent and define you as a person? Will this really be what you stand for? To me, our nature is not to kill but to better ourselves and grow. We shouldn't kill JUST because we like the taste of flesh!

  • Who gives a fuck... wallow in the fact that your utopian dream where everyone eats carrots will never be reality.

I am sick of fuckin liberal cocksuckers trying to dictate to all their BS stance on everything from kissing arab asses to eating plant life.

Now shut fuck up you spineless poser.

  • @EricAndMusic Wow, you are a damaged person. I have no idea what you're on about. Liberal, Arabs, posing, following the Leader? You have issues man. Look, this thing isn't that complicated: we COULD be cruel to animals, but we don't have to, so we shouldn't. I don't know how to put it simpler. What kind of evil agenda do you think vegetarianism is on? It's about respect and harmony. Since you're unwilling to change and give up your ancient bloodlust, it's YOU that is the weak spineless follower.

  • Inflicting pain and havign to regard for the wellbeing of animals, whilst alive, and during the slaughter process, is what I think is wrong. We can eat what we like; but the unnecessary brutality and negligence in teh whole animal husbandry process is absurd, pointless, and completely sickening. Instead of avoiding meat, I think the problem is better solved by striking at the moral/ethical core behind animal mistreatment. The same core behind other abuse and violence.... avoiding isnt helpful

  • Animals eat other animals, its natural. The unnatural and wrong part is how it is done....in my opinion.

  • yes, ANIMALS eat other animals, think you've answered your own question there. :) We humans have evolved a little something called a conscience which should allow us to rise above the basic pre-historic instinct.

  • I didn't have a question in the first place, but anyways...I thought the argument was that animals have a conscience/feelings as well..hence why we aren't supposed to eat them? If animals are going to eat each other (at least many of them) I don't see why humans eating animals is wrong, since we are animals. What is wrong is the way its done because we have the ability to not do it in such a repulsive cruel way. If things weren't so industrialized things would be much better.

  • wow dude, you're a fucking douchebag. how about some god damn respect? 'cause that's what this "poser lifestyle" is all about. know what? why don't you ask some questions instead; you might learn something.

  • @infrabuse 1. Humans are animals. 2. Other species of animals, carnivores included, have moral systems which would mean they as well have a "conscience". 3. Your argument is irrelevant.

  • @infrabuse wrong

  • @winshipfrost you are a moron

  • @winshipfrost how well spoken, and supported with good arguments. You should be a lawyer. Or a politician.

  • @infrabuse I have a tiny conscience that I have no trouble in ignoring. Aspergers is fantastic!

  • @kuksugare88 Dude, sweeet!! Sounds like an excellent deal, lacking basic human emotions. But you have at least some of that clever shit too, right? Hey, how many toothpicks on the floor??? lol enjoy it, rainman. :)

  • @infrabuse It's only mild. I just lack empathy and have mild social anxiety. I don't understand other people's emotions. I'm quite average at maths, but I have been told I'm rather clever. I'm quite the under-achiever, however.

  • @kuksugare88 okay, so you're not comfortable around people. But doesn't that make you feel more connected to animals? You know, like Temple Grandin? Her autism made her understand animals in ways that people with average minds never could.

  • @infrabuse I love animals, but not to the extent where I wouldn't eat one or feel guilty about it. I feel guilty about factory farming or battery farming as I think I've mentioned somewhere - well not so much guilt, but I feel something about it. If the animals are cared for and generally live good lives and are killed in a humane way then that's fine by me.

  • @kuksugare88 the thing you feel about that, is the injustice. Your moral compass tells you that it is evil to exploit a living being like its nothing. Animals have awareness, they feel happiness and experience life. And yet people feel they can treat it like a fucking product. We take their life just so we can have the 10-minute enjoyment of chewing on it's flesh, and then dropping it in the toilet the next day. The ONLY reason not everyone is disgusted about it, is that we're raised with it.

  • @infrabuse a conscience has nothing to do with being a meat eater or not. We ensure animals are born so that at the end of the chain they end up feeding us. These are animals which would not have been born otherwise and do not feel pain when they reach the end of the cycle. We have evolved to eat meat and it is nothing to be ashamed of. Human beings are animals, why are you so arrogant to suppose we are anything different.

  • @infrabuse you call it a basic pre-historic instinct like its something to be ashamed of. I don't understand why.

  • @soulfunkcity If this is a joke, I'm not laughing. So culture and evolution mean nothing to you? We're all animals and cavemen? All the laws I'm studying, that are designed to protect the weak, are useless and counter-nature?? Nice to hear it, Darwin. So I guess that means I can come over and kill your dog if I'm hungry, and rape you when I'm horny! You'll understand, it's survival of the fittest! MY GOD! You take the cake for dumbest arguments I've heard so far! YOU definitely haven't evolved!!

  • @TheWaltonHoax culture and evolution mean alot to me. If you understood evolution you would realise that yes, genetically we are cavemen. Although culture has changed over time, human beings are genetically similar to our recent past. We are a young species in evolutionary terms. You should lookup 'straw man fallacy' because thats what you are doing. My response below still stands even though you mis-represented by position by suggesting that I advocate rape & slaughtering pets. shame really.

  • @soulfunkcity I find it truly upsetting when I hear someone speaking of "our caveman nature" and fondly referring to those good old times, when our history is nothing but repression, slavery, torture and mutilation towards the weak. Finally most people are starting to realise that we owe the same respect to animals. We are HUMAN in the 1st place, and we have a responisbility. We aren't the same as before, our brain has evolved. So stop relishing ancient cruelty. We should keep it moving forward.

  • @soulfunkcity OH and by the way Mr Caveman: I don't need to look up the "straw man fallacy", they explain what that means the first damn week of the first year in law school. And that's not what my arguments entailed, maybe YOU should look it up again. And while you're at it mate, why not educate yourself a little further and google "I'm indoctrinated by big evil money-grabbing industry"... Who knows, maybe you'll learn something! Then again, maybe not. Oh well, one can but try...

  • @soulfunkcity oops, the answer was sent from another account, but yeah, that was me.

  • @infrabuse go eat some tofu, wuss

  • @norulzdotpt YOU go eat some tofu, maybe your brain will stop rotting. Retard.

  • @infrabuse why would i eat tofu? meat is delicious! especially chicken, mmmhmmm

  • @norulzdotpt why???? Because tofu is delicious too, and you can eat it, knowing it did not have to live an awful life, and die a horrible death. Just so you could have your 5 minute "delicious" taste in your mouth, and then drop it in the toilet a few hours later... NOTHING can be so delicious that it deserves that kind of treatment.

  • @infrabuse /watch?v=nRSLQu-d6ZQ

  • @norulzdotpt oooh no!!Sorry, but that is suuuuper lame!! Hahaha! How sad, that you thought that would be something cool to respond with. I'm embarassed in your place! Dude, just ... stop, okay? Just stop.

  • @infrabuse why would you feel embarrassed in my place? if anything you should feel embarrassed for yourself for not knowing what the food chain is

  • @infrabuse meat eating was a vital step in the evolution of the human brain and our cultural sophistication, you're an idiot if you can't see that. notice how herbivores must spend all day eating huge quantities of vegetation just to get by, eating the concentrated protein in meat allowed us time to develop everything that makes us human, build tools, develop cooperative hunting techniques that led to language etc. the act of eating meat is as natural as breathing. but enjoy your quorn anyway.

  • @Oneironosus So just because it was part of our past, it has to be part of our present? You must be a HUGE fan of slavery then, because the entire Western civilisation and economy was built upon it. You're a narrow-minded biggot. I guess YOU could probably stand to eat some more meat, if you think it helps to "develop" the brain. Me, I'm perfectly happy with my quorn, knowing that I'm not perpetuating a culture of violence. Enjoy your bloodlust, caveman.

  • @infrabuse The point I was making was meat eating is part of who we are as the species of Homo Sapiens. It is natural. Eating meat instead of vegetables costs the planet dearly, in terms of co2 release and water consumption, but it doesn't 'perpetuate a culture of violence'. If your objections were environmental then i could sympathise. But to start spouting gibberish about 'immorality' and a 'culture of violence' shows you to be the fool you are. People like you have appropriated vegetarianism

  • as a 'cause', so you can make yourself appear more interesting. Your petulance actually turns people against vegetariansim. I doubt you actually care about the planet at all, the real reason that vegetarians exist. You've turned it into a pseudo religion, where animals are 'our children' who must be protected from the evil meat eaters by the enlightened few. Do you honestly believe that animals 'look to us for protection'??? that eating meat is tantamount to child abuse??

  • @infrabuse Well said :)

  • I'm a vegetarian. Partly due to Morrissey.

  • Who in the hell speaks for the vegetables? It is not for humans to just go and rip a plant life out of the ground just to satisfy their selfish hunger. Nobody seems to give a shit about the vegetables and fruit selfishly consumed without any regard! It makes me sick!!!!!

  • Your argument is dumb. Vegetables are not sentient beings. Non-human animals are. Plants don't suffer. We need and want to survive as a species. So if we had to eat beings that suffered, although it would be morally wrong, I would do it because I have to survive.

  • On the contrary, plant life does have a life system within. I will explain it very simply, it's the same reason why plants die when rock music is played and why plants thrive when classical music is played.

  • Of course it has a life system. Plants are alive. Who said they weren't? Who said plants don't have a life system? They don't have a central nervous system. They are not sentient.

There is absolutely no evidence whatsoever, that plants die when rock music is played and thrive when classical music is played. If this were true, so what? What does that prove and what does it have to do with what we're talking about?

Are you arguing against vegetarianism because we eat plants? That's bizarre!

  • The point is, with all life organisms on the earth, we as humans have no right to eat and consume animal and plant life. It is a total and complete disregard for life and balance on this planet.

  • No right to survive? Rights are granted. if there were no plants or animals to eat, I'd have no problem wiping out a few human beings who I didn't know in order to survive. I don't have a "right" to do this, but I'm going to do it anyway as I want to survive. With no apologies. It would be hard to do.

Veganism and vegetarianism is an argument to reduce suffering in the world. We have no moral justification do dominating another species of sentient beings. We have every justification to eat plants.

  • How do I have a selfish hunger? What else is there to eat? Am I not justified in eating plants because I want to survive?

  • Water and assorted soils from the earth provide the essential nutrients to human sustenance. There is even imported selections to choose from. The pristine animal and plant life shall never be touched.

  • I'm very interested in this. There are people who live without eating plants?

Assorted soils? What is your diet like? What do you eat?

  • Where do we stop must we teach the animals to stop eating meat also is it our moral duty should we not make clothes from plants shall we avoid treading on grass its only a part of evolution to eat animals. Surely to make a point to not eat animals is condescending to them they eat animals why shouldn't we

  • Why or how would one species tell another species to not eat meat? Your comments are just bizarre. Non-human animals must eat each other (for the most part) in order to survive.

Human animals don't eat each other but we eat another species, causing unnecessary suffering.

The point is that we're compassionate beings. Why not allow non-human animals into our moral sphere? It's simply not necessary to eat animals.

You can hardly compare treading on grass to a slaughter house can you?

  • "suitable for vegetarians" = contains dairy ! Dairy industry cause as much suffering and murder too as many cattle and chickens, its the same industry!! Dairy ingredients are not vegetables!

  • "animals are like children" i completely agree with him on that.

And people who think vegans/veggies only eat leafs and vegetables are just damn right idiots. Ugh.

  • lol, killed 80,000,000 amreicans? Where is he getting his facts from? Get a load of this fuck calling production of animals for food on the same level as "CHILD ABUSE"! twisted fuck that.

  • you do make a good point. I love meat. But i can't stand these parents not telling thier children where thier food comes from! not telling them how that burger went from cow to patty. My parents told me the first time i asked the question (i may have been 3, mabey 2). As for me i have killed an animal (humanly), which i latter ate.

  • people like meat cause of the spices and all that shit, but if it was plain they wouldnt eat it

  • what? the same could be said for almost every vegetaible and most fruits.

  • are you serious??!! fruits and veg are grown they taste the same, get out of the brainwash fool

  • Comment removed

  • i can eat vegetables plain cheers

  • if that's how you like to eat them than good for you. I was just pointing out that your point was not a valid one. The taste of Meat and fruits and vegetables has been changed by man over the years.

  • meat means murder of an innocent animal plus what are you doing on here anyways

  • Animals have no concept of innocent. Animals will kill other animals in the wild when it is to thier percieved advantage. Animals have been seen killing for pleasure, even Herbivores. Not that it matters though, in the end we kill animals for food, products, and sometimes testing, all of which we need.

And what am i doing here? This is youtube i saw a video and commented on it. does it matter?

  • wow what an inteligent responce. XD

I came at you with a valid well presented argument and you come back with "your a piece of shit". you might as well say "I have no intelgient responce, and admit I know nothing on the matter at hand."

  • I've heard somewhere that human creature is the smartes and the most beautiful in the world. I've heard that people are cleaver that animals and can build enterprises, temples and banks. If this is true , tell me why people kill animals (absolutely defenceless) and eat dead bodies? Why they cover meat n sauces , feed children this shit and pay for this. I love vegie food (i've meat before i will never forgive this to my parent that they served mi this poison). THINK GREEN-GO VEG.
