@ManicMammoth, I'm sure he has come out & said city is the club for him,he's probably been a blue all of his life (well at least for the last week or so when he realised of their funds).It's got nothing to do with the 170k a week that city are going to pay him.Juve also hardly have any money to make a bid & can barely afford to pay him a quarter of that.

@chingy734 it MAY not be this year (but we certainly have a decent chance...more so than Spurs, Chelsea and powderpuff Arsenal who will fall off over the course of the season due to their over reliance on inexperience) but it will happen in the near futre & definitely in the course of Dzeko's time at the club. We had 3/4 top players out against Arsenal & especially missed the alchemist Silva. Btw no we're not trying to win "the premiership" as you put it because we play football not rugby!

I'll give you Silva, but other than that it seemed like a standard first team, just insanely defensive. @chingy734 We'll have to wait&see on Dzeko but if he's as good as he looks he will play more games than not&he offers aerial prowess which is something we lack up front. You shouldn't underestimate the importance&effect that Silva has on the team, he links the plays from deep to the edge of the opposition box &makes the team tick with his superb passes. We were also without Balotelli (Jo is nowhere near his quality!) who scored a hatrick against Villa the wk before & attacking fullback Kolarov.

@evziefluff city is not his first choice he's begging Juve to sign him before he has to sign for city. Only prob is they won't be able to match city's bid. Silva plays on the wing, city need someone who sits in the middle and pings the passes like the guys I mentioned. That isn't Silva. Mancini is cack anyhow need someone who knows what they're doing.
