  • If he had a 48 inch vertical, why does it look like he just barely dunked it/scraped it over the rim? Does anyone have a clip of where he displays his vertical and rocks the rim hard?

  • just do a search rex chapman or the 1990 nba dunk contest

  • @michiganblkman Because he dunked from almost the 3 point line?

  • Hey Mark, Rex played high school ball at Apollo High not Hancock Co, Hancock Co. could never produce a player like this!

  • mark said GRADE school.

  • hell yeah

  • I used to have to guard Rex in grade school when he played for Hancock Co, I think I held him to 14 pts. We new it back then he would someday play in the NBA. Someone forgot to tell him he was white.

  • dang he could get up

  • UK 24-13 all-time of lil' bro'...

always funny watching the UL fans shift in their seats when the Cats roll in...

no matter the coach, the era, the decade, UK wins 2 of 3...

  • There's a reason they called this town Rexington.

  • if only indiana had him... or utah...

  • sexyrexy!

  • My Childhood Idol, he was the man!

  • Did nothing in the NBA? He scored 39 on MJ with 9-10 from 3s. He destroyed Gary Payton with two clutch shots that led into two overtimes and had 40+ on the glove.

  • Oh yeah! Rex was the man. I can't even believe you put him in the same sentence with MJ or Payton.

  • Chris, sorry, but I just wanted to get the point across that he did solid in the NBA. MJ is my favorite by far, but all I am saying is that Rex had his moments and a solid game.

  • You are right, and I liked him too. I just like getting the KY people fired up. He was the man in High School. Great in College and not bad as a pro. I loved him with the Hornets. Thanks for being kind. CJ

  • it wasn't a illustrious college career, but chapman was the shizzznizzzy

  • Wow. Rex averaged double figures in the NBA for 10 straight seasons.

  • I'm a brotha and I used to watch Rex in college...this white boy could shoot and he could fly. He was a legit ball player in the league. He wasn't just an open/spot up shooter like steve kerr or legler who couldnt' take an elderly person off the dribble. Rex was legit

  • "this white boy"? Dumb racist bitch. There have been many great White basketball players.

  • Rex could get up when he was a skinny country boy. Then he got rich and fat. But, we've always got this clip!

  • yup, did you see him in the Dunk contest? Highest jumping whiteboy i ever seen. Take a look on my account at my favourites, NBAdunkcontest. Rex can HOP!

  • yea Rex could dunk when he was younger

  • Rex MVP

  • Rex can jump !
