Thanks..great contribution to the Ventures' legacy.. I played lead in our family band in the 60's...my next brother was bass and the youngest drums...my father helped us with the gear...(guitars,amps etc).I even named my eldest daughter Ginchy'...The Ventures were our education to the next level...beatles, etc music...thank you Ventures, Thank you stupullen..more power to you.
I was in a family band (d' Sparks) in the 60's..was on lead, my next brother bass and our yougest drums. my father furnished the gear(amps etc.)...I am happy I can again recall on your channel, 'the' days...fromThe Ventures, guitar players had it easy with the next stage...beatles etc... thank you, thank you!!!
If you are trying to figure this thing out (guitar lead) Check: Frank Santos -Ginchy,
and watch him. I can now play this tune one of my forgotten favorites. My sister gave me the" Another Smash" album in 1965. Now that I'm in my 60's I have the pleasure of playing these tunes myself. Thanks for posting. Its the rare and unusually tunes, I love.
@billdescoteaux Lullaby of the leaves is a good tune, but my personal way of doing my channel is uploading the rare & unusual tracks ... this adds spice to you tube & a good challenge for me...Thanks for the comment!
The guitar lead. I think I have some of it right. But I have a long way to go. Some tunes come easy any others I just have a hard time with. I'd really like to be able to play this one.

I actually prefer this over Lullaby Of The Leaves, which was the "A" side, and was the hit. Released March 1961.

This song moves as fast as greased lightening. More guitar genius from the Ventures. They ruled rock instrumentals.
