When I see the ferries that other countries have, it makes Washington State (USA) ferries look embarrassing. Our ferries are so old and rusty, they make so much noise. Other countries have these nice new sleek ferries that are much faster and much safer. Oh Washington State Ferries(USA), WHERE did you screw up and how will you ever fix it?!?!?!
@Imragnar1 please dont feel embarrassed, its just the differences of culture/ Geo situation of HK and US.
The huge demand of our high speed ferries, are highly supported by Macau gambling business, no ferry company can survived using A-1 gasolines powered ferries. (the cat in this clip uses 4 x Diesel engines.).
The gamblers like to access the Macau casinos fast and direct from HK, the most efficient way is by sea travel, you need more than 4 hours by coach but only 55mins by fast ferries.
Great to see that they put them through there passes, I helped build these Ferrys. Good to see the 4x V16 getting a workout. I never saw these in action like that when Austal Ships tested them. Good video who shot it.

You will feel exciting if u come to hong kong and have a real ride on them. There are 21 of this type running between hong kong and Macau.
