Nice time. Was this on semi slicks or full slicks?
I just did a 32.80 in a 4 door saloon today....on 1a tyres as well. Would love to have a go with slicks on. I may even keep up with you!

Slicks! i was parked opposite you yesterday!! my son loved your car! but as for keeping up with my 150BHP vs your monster bring it on lol!!
slicks should be worth about 1.5 -2 secs around curb! depending on set-up, but it would be hell your transmission and a set of Avon (sprint tyres super soft) will cost your about 1K!! and will last you about 4 meetings! with the power you are putting out and the weight of yor car) mine last about 13 events but my car is only 380KGs! but the grip is fab!

Oh God. 380kgs. My car is light for an Evo at 1245kgs. That's why we need 600bhp. I have some dunlops slicks I will use one day. I've done loads of sprints on slicks and the transmission is still ok so far. I shall have to prey more during the launches. Mmm...2 secs off will give me a 30.80. Now that's fast for a car I drive to sprints in. I have to drive to Scotland in it next month. What a Pain! I can get 8 spare wheels in the car plus tools/jack etc. Probably more than your car weighs.

its because on the GSXR1100 engine (when fitted with an electric reverse as mine is)there is no room for the gear lever to be fitted in the normal direction it as to be moved round 180dig. however my new set-up gets round this problem and the gears are used in the 'normal' way

looks like an illegal dashboard to me Mr Scrutineer... check Blue Book section 17.45 para 12...
i suppose the drive was ok though... just think how fast you could have gone with the duck
