  • Nice Drift Dude..!!! I Love Itt.. :D

  • Ordered my sushi drift tires n a sett of rimms:0 n forgot to check the diameterss grrr ordered to big of rimmss

  • What are the items that you have change to turn this touring TA 04 into drifting car?

    And what are the setting?

  • **about how much did the car cost? **

  • nice when u start drifting

  • are the abs tires still up for sale?

  • @jwrx7tt01

You can go to home depot and ask for some abs tubing. If not just buy them from ebay. There is a guy that sells them ready to mount and super cheap. Look up sushi drift.

  • @JavierQ615 ok thanks (Y)

  • FatMonsterIsEatin even if you tape the tyres you will need a 4x4 car

  • can u tell me wat is EPA?

  • tape the tires with black tape 10 TIMES to make a full drifting car

  • i really want one

    nice track i love it!!!

  • B-E-A-utiful!

  • Thanks mate.

  • What's the song name?

  • It's by John Digweed.....can't remeber the song though...:)

  • i use tape because it slides good but has traction in the straght aways

  • how much did the kit cost? and what make is it?and also what is the link for ebay so i can have a look at them

  • nice drift

  • Thanks mate.

  • hi mate set up on yours shocks more vertical or horizontal on front and back thanks and i find it that abs is good on smooth concrete and pvc on asphalt thanks!!

  • smooooth. where do you get these RC drifting cars?

  • Thanks mate. All cars were bought as kits from Ebay and built from scratch.

  • Woah.. i wish i had one T_T

That would be my life but i cant build.. im only like 14..

    id suck t_T

  • Why can't you do it at 14?

  • cause ill mess it up.. ?

  • anybody can do this hobby...

  • im 13 and i bult one that works good

  • whats the advantage of a one way than to completely lock the front thanks

  • You're probably correct. If anything, the free runnig front wheels makes its harder to control. But i find with a locked front, the car tends to behave too unpredictably on a straight line with decent speed.

  • a 35 tooth pinion will fry ur motor and esc if its under 20 turn it will overheat then it will fail

  • Mine is just a SIMPLE RC car...(radio)

for about $65$ AND STILL I CAN DRIFT!

    WAHAHA!

CAN SOMEONE POST A VIDEO ON ABOUT HOW TO DRIFT AN RC CAR?

  • hi there bro!.. i have a TA04r in drift set up.. what spur and pinion gear are you using?

  • Spur 128 and 35 pinion. Have a good day.

  • dude i have a metal pinion agenst a plastic spur and its so loud!! Is yours as loud ad mine???

  • loud is good plastic on plastic eats each other away same with metal on metal so they have metal on plastic and yea

  • hi i want to get in to rc drifting whats a good car to start with and wat do i have to mod to get it 2 drift?

  • Hello mate, what sort of chassis do you have? And what sort of set up you have currently? regards

  • hi i have a revo 3.3.

but i want 2 buy a new car, what do u think i should go for? and when i buy a new car what do i have 2 upgrade on it 2 get it 2 drift?

  • Well, a good and cheap way to start is a tamiya tt-01. You can start to Drift even with a stock motor on ABS/PVC tires. But a little hotter motor will give much better lines and curves. Once you have the grasp, you can lock the diff and it will natuarlly hang sideways when brake or accelerate.

  • ok thanks. ill have a look at my local hobbie shop and see what thet have

  • how do you lock diffs????

  • What chassis are you running on? With a Standard Ball Diff, you can tighten the nut to max and lock the diff. Or on a Beval gear diff, you can try openning it and out Blue Tac inside to stop the counter motion. regards,Ed

  • im running a tt01

  • Nice skillz. Check out my drifting vids bro.

    Keep up the good work.

  • heyhey lovin r/c drifting but i need like a full scale race track just to stay on lol. (maybe slight exageration) how do u keep it so tight?

  • Lots and lots of practice.:) lol. But do bare in mind that drift cars like to hook from one side to another. With that, look at the track as different circles, arcs. Hope this will help. :) Happy Drifting!!

  • thanks champ! allso if u wouldnt mind i have heard alot of different rumours for what tires to use. i mainly drift on bitchumen and was wondering what u recommend?

  • Is the surface smooth? or on the rough side. What motor are you running on? :)

  • more on the rough side. just the stock motor that comes with the tl-01.

  • TL-01 is not the ideal car for drifting as there are too many gears and counter gears. It rides too rough and tends to stutter when cornering. To make it a better drifter, you can try to take the Diffs out, unscrew them and put Blue-Tak around the beval gears. That way, with the locked diff, it will drift better. As for Stock motor, it's best matched with PVC/ABS type tires only. But, that will not give good control on Rough asphalt.

  • you can also try RP-D Tires by Take-off. they will give you much better control on rough roads. For the high speed drift tires such as HPI Atype, Shimizu... It's not matched with you chassis and motor. Hope this help. :) lol

  • thanks man u been a huge help! been on a few forums and yeh its hard to find wat works and what dosnt but yeh ill give it a go and see what happens! thanks :)

  • No worries mate. If you ever have a chance or if you use Ebay, you might be able to sell your TL-01 and swap for a TT-01 which is a much better Tourer/Drifter at a minimal costs. If you get serious, a 19 turn or below motor is an essential. Happy Drifting!! :)

  • haha i was just on ebay checkin that out. tt-01's still run 540's yeh?

  • Yes mate. Standard 540. Have fun.

  • seriously man i just got a drift car and its so hard to hang it out and keep it there some tips please:)

very nice driving by the way! keep it up:)

  • Thanks mate. Drifting takes a lot of practice and patience. Anticipation is just as important. Set the practice part aside, what car, set up do you have? Also, what tires and surfaces are you running? regards,Ed

  • haha nice, its so flawless, i need about a foot more room than that to drift, ure good at drifting small tracks, real DK style lol

  • Thank you mate. :) Keep drifting and keep having fun!

  • xD thx dude

    nice drifting bytheway

  • i am love r/c drifting

bud i live in the netherlands and i think thats a half day flying so...
