Not a bad list even if I only agreed with half of the games. Crash Team Racing, Disney's Hercules, Medal of Honor, Soul Blade and Abes Exxoddus would be in my top 10.

@suddnstar I have grown the same way, although if the game is truly interesting I can still enjoy it. I have had many fun nights alone or with girlfriends with horrorgames like deadspace or condemned2 with the difficulty on maximum. But losing there is part of the experience, why it's scary:P so then I dont mind being torn to bits by some horrible tentacle creature which moves absurdly while I scream like al little girl:P

@suddnstar ah deadspace 2 is not even half as scary as 1 unfortunately :( But it has some scary moments in it. Dunno if you know the velociraptor scene from jurrasic park but, there are some monsters in tehre that are exactly that, and you scream ur lungues out when you hear them come at you lol

@Sindogg90 The one thing about Driver that always disappointed me was how you couldn't get out of the car. That changed in Driver 2. In Driv3r you and the police could get out of the car, and you could kill the cops too, kinda like GTA.

These graphics still look really good to me. I mean, even the PS3 isnt -that much- better that the graphics can fool me into thinking they are real images.. It just looks like -slightly better- cgi. I still buy psx games I've never played before. Also, did you know there's a menu option in the PS2 that sharpens graphics and increases loading times for PS1 games?! It's sweet.

..besides, I want to set up an off the grid/solar panel setup on a boat and RV. Hands down, Playstation 1 has the lowest power consumption and best quality games for running off a solar power/deep cell battery. In a zombie apocolypse- Playstation will be highest quality console overall that survives..

..and I LOVE the fact that a free emulator will play any PS game in any computer. Just too many advantages. Add Sony's free online, vs. Mircosofts paid, and it's a done deal.

@Freshbrood Paying for an Xbox Live gold membership isn't really expensive, so I don't think of it as a problem. So far there have been no breaches in security either, earlier in the year PSN was hacked, and gamers were unable to play online for a bit. Microsoft has never had this problem, $60 for good secure online gaming is well worth it.

I got my first ps1 in 2002. I was in class three. before that i played sega megadrive, SNES and genisis. When I got my first ps1 i was very excited to play new games. I started with smackdown. After 2-3 yrs i got ps2 and then xbox. and now i m using ps3. Those were the nice days

@jdx66 Most definitely, back then I was a kid and I had way more spare time on my hands then I do now. So, I was able to spend a good amount of time playing video games. I was so excited whenever I'd get a new game, and there were so many good titles to choose from on the Playstation. I got my PS1 in 1999, best gift of my childhood, I even liked it more than the Game Boy Advance and Xbox that I got a few years later.

@jakxcombat When I first got my Playstation in 1999 I got a demo disk with it. The disk had games like Medevil, Spyro, Gran Turismo and more. When I played Spyro I greatly enjoyed it. So much so that I had to go out and buy the game. The demo was to teasing for me, I had to have the real deal. Yes, those were the good old days, I wish that I could spend just one day living them again.

Resident Evil is a good choice, but I prefer Dino Crisis to Resident Evil. I think the graphics are better and it is a different type of survival horror. Resident Evil was a survivor horror with dead people, this has been done before in others games, so Resident Evil isn't special to me. But it is still fun. Resident Evil is too similar to other survival horrors on the Playstation like Silent Hill for example.

I'm 20 more or less. I've been playing Playstation since 1997, every game on this list is here for a reason and I will explain why they are on this list. No lie I love Resident Evil if I had a top 15 list it would be like Number 11. I had actually wanted to do a top 15 list but I have a time limit, so I can't do so. I also wish I could have put games like Soul Blade and Megaman Legends on the list but like I said I have a time limit. If you have anymore questions please ask! I love discussions.

Yes, it was. In 1997 I was first introduced to the Playstation. Nobody I knew had it. Everyone had and Snes or a Genesis. So, when I played the Playstation it was revolutionary to me. I used to play it at Toy's r us, Wal-Mart, Blockbuster and Best Buy. By the time 1998 came in I was a huge fan of the Playstation, it was my favorite console. I then got a playstation in 1999, once I got it I received a demo disk in the box.
