I played them all on pc from fifa 97 until fifa 09 en now I got my first PES (2010) on Xbox and it's by far the best football experience I had on a computer.

no hummelo the bests times of fifa it's = Fifa 97 to Fifa 2002 ;) Later it was the best Game of football video game it's the first in the series released on PC "PES 3" date release 2003.. PES THE BEST.. FIFA IT WAS THE BEST GAME TO 2002 AWESOME ;)

Its a long time since i really liked the pc version of Fifa, my first Fifa game on pc was Fifa 98.

Fifa 99 and 2000 was great, but after 2000 i havent really liked any of the new games on PC.

Now its Xbox 360 and PS3 all the way, lets really hope Fifa 10 on pc has good gameplay at least :) Then they will maybe go for better graphics in Fifa 11 ?

Don't be stupid, i was a pes fan till about pes 04, after pes 05 it just got shit on ps2, fifa was repetitive back then and pro evo and fluid playing. But since I got xbox and fifa09 and Pro evo 2009, fifa takes it now, realistic playing and graphics, pes had its time...sorry mate.

i think for pc version, fifa 06 world cup is the best and easiest to control and practice. Recently i download the fifa06(non-world cup) version, it's surprising that my core 2 dual notebook can't run smoothly. The mouse cant select the item i want, it keeps skipping and wont stop. It really piss me off !!

The problem you have is due to some USB connection (maybe keyboard). Try to unplug one by one every USB device and see when the cursor stop skipping...

That was World Cup 98 by EA Sports then, Fifa 98 RTWC(Road To World Cup) had Blur - Song 2 as the main theme not Chumbawamba - Tubthumping.

And I still have Fifa 97 :-)
