Keep training! Try to understand what you do and what other people do! Feel every move inside of yourself and the opponent! Develop internal aspects of martial art training! Learn how to cultivate, refine, and release(Fajing). Learn to put the right amount of energy at the right place at the right time to maximize efficiency and effectiveness! Learn to apply control through contact and learn to establish contact through entry and interception!
thats so fake..ok ok wait now pretend you are being magically tossed by my mystical unachievable life energy...this video is shit...and if the sifu is the one doin the arguing then you are no sifu... you are but a old man hoping to achieve something in life that by the sounds of your attitude is not going to happen...just because your old doesnt mean your right...we are all human
This is me! I am Master Randy K. Li, I posted this video trying to make the public know who the ignorant skeptics are, and who knows enough about attributes that a martial artist should possess.
From what I read in your comment, there are obviously a lot of things that you haven't understood yet. Those who cry out fake are the ones who are not at a level high enough to understand how to maximize one's own output of energy to affect an opponent's structure!
i understand how to punch and kick...maybe not 30 years worth so they are not 30 years of power...but come on master randy k li... if you have an open mind..make another video proving this..(without the fat guy!) and another thing......how can i practise to maximize my power output then? i may be a grasshopper...but i am a trained grasshopper
I don't know how long you have been training, but your silly questions reflect your current level! You are better than most ignorant skeptics that some of these bigots would use bad languages to boost their egos! At least you are asking questions that means you are finding answers to the stuffs that are unknown to you! (=:
In fact, I like to talk with you! You are not a regular ignorant skeptics! You actually have a very good learning attitude!
The whole thing for this demo is how to stand on one foot and take the pressure. That involved certain breathing and mental techniques and good body structure. I had to direct the pressure to the ground while my body is in the upright position! That was the key of this demo, not the throws! The throws were nothing!
I don't know whether I would do this again! That was harmful to the knee because our knees are not designed to take so much pressure. My knee made some funny sound during the demo and it clicked for a few weeks after that!
The throwing is easy if you have good timing and have good control in Fajing(release of force). You can fajing/release your force when the opponent extends and charges his or her arm. Use that charged limb as a bridge to affect the opponent's center of gravity.
That is very interesting aspect of the style you study. I can only use my releasing force with kicks and punches and what not. and as for taking pressure, what is the apllication aspect of those particular methods? Thanks Master
Taking pressure is a must in applying long weapons and fighting with a grappler. If your stance and structure are bad and you can't take high-pressure, you get knocked down when you try to block a heavy blow . To be able to fajing(release force) at close distance and even at no distance is important so that no one can grapple you down to ground for a submission. Think of it like grabbing a slimy fish, the fish can usually wiggle out from your hands. (=:
All styles have similar aspects when a practitioner gets to top level!. He or she often turns some imaginations into reality!
The styles and techniques may be different, but our body structures remain the same and constant. You and your opponent have the same anatomy. Beside the size, weight, and reach, intelligence level, experience, energy level, physical condition and calm mindset. Other attributes such as knowing and able to direct the pressure away or back to the opponent may be needed.
I had heard pops a few times during heavy-weight pushing-hands in some tournaments. The sound came from a knee's being popped out of the socket. The weight of the competitor plus the pushing force of the opponent forced the knee out of place! Ambulances were called during that situation! (=:
I can tell you that you are wrong! Martial arts do not just limit to just fast striking and kicking. There are a lot of things that you don't have any clue such as to control through contact.
Grasshopper! You still have a lot to learn!
I do not have to fake anything! What I demonstrated 're just some basics! Go ask the true experts! May be you haven't met a true expert yet! Whoever you look up to may not be true expert!
Have an open mind that may make you able to understand more! (=:
and your right ...i have only trained with senai and sifu who are in there 30's......so i havnt met a true expert....but how about demonstrate that technique without kiss ass students...they looked like they were waiting and letting you instead of actually opposing your weight
You have to know that it was only a demonstration of attributes and techniques. That was not a fight or competition! But, one thing I can assure you that is that I never rehearse for my demos. That was also my first trial in my life to push-hand with one foot and one arm, and I did it in public! You missed the key of this demo, that was not how I threw, but how I stood on one foot to take so much pressure from four guys' weight leaning forward plus their pushes! I was trying to test my limit!
They were not waiting! They had no choice and they couldn't move the way they wanted because they were being controlled/affected by what I instilled into them through contact! That's why some of them looked like they were not doing anything but to let me push!
I see the argument and I have to let you know, sifu Li doesn't need to fake anything. Everything I saw here was pretty basic for him! Also his student has been with him for many years and is undoubtedly quite good, he didn't fake it either. Sifu Li gets accused of that all the time! That's the skill of a champion, to make the difficult look easy.
To the person who's arguing, perhaps you think you know wing chun but obviously you haven't grasped the nuances of qigong. There is a lot to learn.
I love this entertainment to entrap these martial art ignorant bigots! Now the high-level martial artists will know who are these naive if not stupid bigots!
Your statement clearly indicates that you are naive or at very low level in Wing Chun! There is nothing about Wing Chun here and this is a Taiji Pushing-Hands demo!
This is a stationary pushing-hands demo and no foot work was applied. What you said made me wonder how shitty your Wing Chun is! I think that you shamed your Sifu! (=:
When did I ever disrespect you or your fraudulent master? All I said was that it's fake. I have freinds been doing this for TWENTY FIVE YEARS and they dont do this kinda bullshit you fucking asshole.
EAT the fact it is FAKE you insecure dipshit!
I happen to LIKE Tai Chi--in FACT I'll be doing some in the near future. Just not with clowns like this.
YOU SAID: ..........."There is nothing about Wing Chun here and this is a Taiji Pushing-Hands demo!"
THE MAN LOADS HIS FKING LEG! PERIOD. TAI CHI IS OLDER THAT W/C-AND YES THERE ARE TAI CHI PRINCIPLES IN W/C WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT-THE STYLE IS MUCH OLDER. LOOK CLOSER GRASSHOPPER-ONLY A KEEN EYE CAN SEE THE FACT HE LOADS HIS LEG SILENTLY (VS TELEGRAPHING). THATS WHY WHEN HE "JUMPS" HIS LEG GOES ALMOST HORIZONTAL. WHAT A DAMN N00B YOU ARE.
Can't you see that the man lost control to his structure and momentum due to the control that I instilled into him through contact?
Hopefully someday you 'll be lucky enough to understand that? But with your poor learning attitude, self-boosted ego and arrogance pretending that you have all the answers, you may never get to that level in life!
You can apologize to me after you find out that you have been very stupid and when you start to understand what I demonstrated! (=:
What you said reflects that you are at the bottom level in any martial art! Do you read English? I said that your low knowledge level if not low intelligence brought shame to your own teacher of Wing Chun. Hmm....may be your Wing Chun teacher is no good too, or you might have learned only from videos and books and used lots of assumption to boost your ego! You are in the wrong path, and you will never understand what can be done and what can't be done at high level with your bad attitude! (=:
Only the most gifted of wing chun practitioners are even able to begin to understand that!!!
Ryzer, you're not convincing anyone of anything other than that you've got nothing better to do than argue an invalid point with regards to something you've no understanding.
Why can't I response? I love to expose the ignorant bigots like you! I leave this open, so that the audience can draw a line between the martial artists who have high-level skills and understand what I did and the naive people who like to think that they know everything! Your claiming that I faked this demo indicates that you are at very low level!
Since you called yourself Richard, I may call you little Dick with a big head but no brain! You are still a Dick Head!
Haha! You make my day for my entertainment! You have a new facade this time! You can't hide your ass anymore because the same trashy mind, vicious words, and clear ignorance reveal yourself!
Your comment shows that you are the most ignorant bigot on Youtube. The true martial art experts do not need your retarded and hateful comment to determine that these are high-level internal techniques. Only the fools such as you can't tell the real thing from the fakes. Brah-Ha-ha-Ha (=:
Haha! How can a guy jump backward without breaking his neck or back? That was on a high stage that was made with solid concrete! This is not a spring board on a swimming pool!!!
Analoralchusaulei's imagination if not intelligence is obviously very limited! Can I call you Dick? Richard
awesome..How did you become a master? I can't even pay the bills...Are you from a well off family?
