  • Bok,Sale! Hvala za dodavanje. Svirka je boli glava čista 5!

Reci mi jel ovo što tipkaš sa strane metronom?

  • @MadBoc83 Bok! Je, to je metronom. Al ga tipkam, stari... :-)

  • Im the drummer for the bellrays! Nice song choice! and nice snare ;)

  • @drumhead1984 Hi, Stefan, I am really honoured you saw the video. Me and the buddies from my band are long time fans of The Bellrays and a few years ago The Bellrays were scheduled to play a concert in my town of Pula, Croatia when a pouring rain made it impossible and your show was finally cancelled. Bummer!

If you find some time, please feel free to pay a visit to Junkers5 channel, which features other songs of our band: youtube.com/junkersfive. Thanks again for visiting & posting

Puno. :-)

  • @spikeman23 Yep, I totally agree, man. I found it extremely sensitive too, ideal for low volume settings, as well as for loud gigs.

  • @salemesserschmitt Agreed. I was using the pork pie black beauty and thought ehh the black beauty won't sound that much different. Wrong lol, I can crank it up or tune it down to get a fatter sound out of it and it just sounds killer. What heads are you using on yours?

  • @spikeman23 The drum came factory equipped with a Ludwig Weather Master head which was OK (it has serious "denting" after only several months of (ab)use unlike Remo's heads I've tried so far, for example). I replaced it with an Aquarian Focus-X Texture Coated batter, which really suits my needs for a loud head with reduced overtones and emphasized attack. A great choice for a loud rock outfit. Actually, the Focus-X is mounted on the Black Beauty on this clip.

    The reso head is Ludwig.

  • @salemesserschmitt I noticed that also whenever i swapped out the stock batter head. It had quite a few dents. Right now i'm using a remo controlled sound reverse dot on mine and it seems to really work well on it. I've heard a coated ambassador works really well but i need something a little more durable. I'm still using the stock reso head as well, Which i think is basically the same thing as a clear ambassador. I could be wrong though.

  • @spikeman23 Controlled sound is a great batter head, I've tried it out many times. Speaking about durability, just this weekend I played a gig during which a Powerstroke3 snare batter head broke down on me. That was a first! :-) I replaced it immediately with a Fiberskyn head which I had as a backup, and to be honest, was quite worried what will happen with that one, if a PS3 broke... It went through the rest of the gig fine, though...

  • @salemesserschmitt I' only tried a powerstroke 3 head out once and didn't care for it. Remo was having quality control issues at the time, I had coating come off after only a few days of practice. I don't know what else i would try. I've been using a powercenter reverse dot for years now and just now decided to try remo again.

  • @spikeman23 Yep, same here about the coating issues with Remo heads. The last Remo head I bought is a PS3, however I don't dare playing with sticks on it in order not to ruin the coating, therefore I only play with brushes on it. In other words: I found it impossible to use the same Remo coated head for sticks AND for brush work. Sad but true. I've heard all the hype on Aquarian coating. A couple of months ago, I got a shipment of Aquarian heads from LIDC. Will try them out soon.

  • @salemesserschmitt Thats cool. I've heard good things about aquarians coating but nobody in my area carries aquarian, So it's either remo or evans for me. The evans powercenter reverse dot is the ionly snare heard from them that i've liked. The rest have had this plasticy sound to them . But so far i haven't hads issues with the controlled sound.

  • @spikeman23 Where are you from? Which type(s) of music do you prefer playing?

  • @salemesserschmitt I'm from the U.S. I mostly play hard rock along the lines of creed , submersed, 12 stones, Stuff of that nature.

  • @spikeman23 You have a great selection of drum gear in several online stores in the U.S.

I regularly order everything from the Long Island Drum Center, about which I only have words of praise, both for selection & prices, and for great service. There's even free of charge postage (within the U.S.) for certain value orders. I'm from Croatia and when I order stuff there, I pay at least double the value of the goods for postage/VAT and similar expenses. Most unfortunately.

  • @salemesserschmitt Thats normally how i order. I ordered my black beauty through midwest perscussion and i actually saved $50 because ludwig had some black beautys in the size i wanted with the blue olive badge and i got it shipped directly from them. I'm not sure about international shiping but i'm sure it isn't cheap.

  • jedanput tjedno gledam ovo i svaki put nesto ovo vidim... jebena stvar i svirka... sale car

  • vidim ludwig BB radi kao sat :) super svirka

  • @hopemetal Nemojmo o opremi, znaš šta mislim o tome. :-)

Iskreno: namjeravao sam uzeti stari dobri zahrđali Pearl World doboš, ali sam se na koncu ipak odlučio za ludwig, obzirom da se snima DVD, pa ajde da budemo šminkeri. Thx na komentaru!

  • Yes, The BellRays!!! Odlicna stvar. Svaka cast, Sale!

  • @dhrgetic Drago mi je da ti se sviđa, lipi! Rock on!
