  • Great drawings, poor anatomy. Brush up my friend!

  • Great notes...drawings

  • Good men, keep up the good work. I wish my professor explains nerves like that.

  • genetofemoral neve is anterior and lateral cutaneous nerve is posterior i think..

  • Hi bro. Psoas does not attatch to rib 12, th Quadratus Lumborum does.

  • @Lanthanideatoms To the vertebral body and intervertebral discs starting from L1 but some say T12 :-)

  • great lessons.

reminds me my teacher of anatomy.

you have an excellent style, Dr. Aziz

  • thanks for the video but you didn't mentioned L3 in Obturator Nerve, as its formed by, L2,L3 and L4, and an accessory obturator nreve arise L3 and L4

  • شكرا جزيلا

  • your voice is so soothing it makes learning this so enjoyable

  • psoas muscle doesn't insert on rib 12! according to all the books i have..

  • @poparadu56 its the sides of the bodies of t12 check out L.Moore's clinical anatomy

  • Whoever made this video-- Thank you so much for sharing your time and knowledge and (not least of all) your drawinds! This is VERY helpful.

  • how does it provide autonomic innervation to the lower limb??????????

  • @kooziejr It doesn't - he corrected himself later ... BRACHIAL PLXUS and LUMBOSACRL PLEXS are only SOMATIC !!

  • @Lanthanideatoms thats what i thought

  • Can botox alleviate sciatic pain?

  • you should not post a wrong explanation.

otherwise u are trying to fool ppl. one mistake and make all the explanatin wrong. and this explanation has many mistakes.

  • it is pronounced "soas".

i used to get confused and call it por-i-a-sis. psorisis/psoas :$

  • what is the music in the background? Where can i get it? =)

  • It's good.

but there are some mistakes on lumbosacral plexus...

  • that was really informative man thanks

  • The series on the lumbosacral plexus was well done. There are a couple of minor problems. The Femoral n. origins (L2,3,&4), the lat. femoral cut. n. (L2 &3) and the nerve roots for the sciatic n. (L4-S4) are not correct in your video according to Clemente's "Anatomy: A Regional Atlas of the Human Body, Snell " Clinical Anatomy for Medical Students" and Netter's " Atlas of Human Anatomy. I understand that there are minor variations between textbooks. You have simplified a complex area of anatomy.

  • Aiieee.. two major mistakes. BOTH the femoral nerve and obturator nerve are L2 L3 and L4.

    Otherwise, fantastic artistry!

  • Apart from other corrections, I think lateral cutaneous is actually L2-L3, and sacral plexus is L4-S4?

  • Assalamualaikumwaraihmuthlullahiwabarkath

Peace be upon you and all those that watch this video.

Just a small correction for the author and audience. At 2 different occasions in this video (6:01, and 8:20) it was made mention that the sciatic Nerve is composed of L5-S3. However, the truth is that the Sciatic N is from L4-S3.

Just a small addendum , but an important one.

Much respect to you and your movement hyperhighs.

  • well u have to remember coz u r giving that lacture n many people like ur lacture just correct it if u can coz in my anatomy book its different

by d way nice lacture ... its helpful

    thanks

  • You are right.. but i have so many other things to study, i forget small details like that.. but i will remember once i look back at my notes. Anyways, you are also right about how different books say different numbers. That is very frustrating lol. Good luck :)

  • Brilliant man, makes my life so much easier!

Saves hours from flicking through netters and grays man,

  • Hey.. i don't remember the exact number for that... check your anatomy book.

  • @hyperhighs too late but yes L2 is femoral and L3 is Obtrautor ... :)

  • some confussion ..... isnt inferior n superior gluteal nerve arrise from (L5-S2) n (L4-S2 )respectivily?????????????

  • you a medschool student ????

  • The Femoral Nerve receives branches from L2-L4, correction. Besides a very occasional error, you do a great job!
