i have to say i enjoyed this ride, and i could easily stay on it all day, but i have to say nowdays there are bigger and better vertical drop rides. ok when it was first built it must have been great, but the drop on saw is much better, not to mention stealth. sorry

Well, it was the first ride of it's kind. Prototype rides tend to be kinda short.

i went on this and it was a definately the best ride i have ever been on! absolutely maganificent! i was scared stiff when they stopped you at the top, but when your going down the big drop it is an AMAZING sensation! i would definately recommend it to those of you who haven't been on it and if you have, go on it again!

Why is it the American coaster never seem to try and make the rides good. They always try to make them THE BIGGEST or THE HIGHEST or THE FASTEST. They leave out scenery, they just have plastic parks without themed areas or any descent or much loved scenery. For instance this ride, Oblivion is in England, and really gives you the feel of it with its station, scenery and advertising. But Sheikra in Busch Gardens is also made by Bolliger & Mabillard but is terrible. Anyone else noticed that.

While I somewhat agree with you, SheiKra isn't "terrible" in the least bit. Just about every B&M is great.

I agree that themeing should be significant to a theme park, sadly it isn't over here in the US. Six Flags and Cedar Fair are way too competitive and would rather give up quality for quantity. However, Disney, Universal, and Busch Entertainment does an excellent job with themeing.

oblivion is not extrememly high for some i think its very high but it goes into the gound as far as you were above i didnt believe that at first but i watched the building and planning of it and fuck me it does go deep into the ground
