  • fascinating ...:)

  • 1.11 on right side...skull xD!!!

  • But why is vastness so appealing to humans ?

  • Awesome pictures. The Creator who create these beautiful universes is really The Best Creator, The Most Powerful, The Most Articulate, The Most Genius.

"And the heaven He has raised it high, and He has set up the Balance"

    Quran: 55:7

"Have they not looked at the heaven above them, how We have made it and adorned it, and there are no rifts in it?" Quran : 50: 6

"Verily in the heavens and the earth, are Signs for those who believe." Quran : 45:3

  • pure beauty.... there is no other thing that is as beautiful as the cosmos! the universe is so vast and full of beauty!!!!

  • @TheSpaceaholic aww why did you remove your other comment? Well I like both of them... you're very thoughtful and I totally agree with you. :D

  • Space is filled with an awesome majesty that is simply impossible to put into words. To gaze at the nebulae in this video, and realize that they aren't just clouds in space - they're structures that are light years across! They show such great depth - and through their lights and shadows, reveal just how full of light space really is. Viewing the dust clouds of the Sombrero galaxy makes me feel so small and insignificant. The universe is truly wonderful.

  • You put Uranus in the selection, everybody forget of Uranus! i call him "The Forgotten Planet",congratulations,my friend! :)

  • How could anyone forget Uranus!? He's god of the sky! Literally, that's what Uranus means in Latin. Oh, I LOVE astronomy.

  • some astronomers of the probe Voyage, was disappointed with Uranus, after "she" explore the nearby of Jupiter,Saturn, and after Uranus(the atmosphere of this is relatively calm)and after, the atmosphere of Neptune shows many activity for Voyager, with strong winds, some clouds and a unexpected heat. They belive that Neptune is in formation(after 4,5 billions of years)but i like a lot of Uranus he's inclinated 90/98 degrees, more or less, the poles stay in the equator and vice-versa,crazy!

  • Wow! That's come nice information you've got there. Thank you for sharing it :)

(Sorry, I know that sounded really sarcastic, but it wasn't).

  • All the artists, painters, movie directors in the world can't amount to the sheer epic beauty and precision that is behold, in space. Even calling 'space' space is a misleading name as it refers to the Cosmos containing nothing. To call space space is, in my opinion a serious understatement. Just look at it! It is not nothing. It's a devine beauty that surpasses human imagination. It's too bad we can't touch them...yet.

  • The Zen¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • Gee wiz man! Space IS darg gone neat AND groovy!

  • :") wow nice man as soon as i started watching it it made me cry (tears of joy) because we live in a such beautiful place!

  • yay!!! you're right about that! In the Cosmos we're home, we're safe and we're surrounded by unbelievable beauty!

  • You're right, the Universe is absoultey beautiful beyond belief, but safe? No.

  • I agree with you Kelescope. The universe is a strange place and we only know a small fraction of what lies out there. It's probably not safe since stars are always going supernova, black holes are engulfing galaxies and stars...galaxies are colliding (even though that really doesn't pose a threat to stars or solar systems) I guess it's a part of living in an untamed universe that only obeys the laws of physics and not the wishes of any life form.

  • Absolutely. The universe is indeed untamed and a dangerous place to live. Still, if something catastrophic was to happen, the view in the sky would be FANTASTIC!

  • Good video!

What the hell is the fountain lol?

and number 44 is teh butterfly nebula

  • Thank you :) The Fountain is a science fiction movie. Thanks for letting me know what number 44 is too.

  • np.

Also, number 39 is a photomontage of eagle nebula and some trees

  • you sure know your stuff, lol.. thanks again.

  • Simply Amazing

  • This is why I want to be an astronomer for NASA. Space is AMAZING.

  • You know what you should buy? HDScape - Stargaze, I use it as a means to study, gives you the names of the image, and who took it.

    Great images!

  • Beautiful, thanks for sharing my friend, inspiring images..

  • I'm the 3000 th viewer!

  • At 0:29 1:05 1:32 and 2:12 looks awsome!!!

  • 1:05 is called eye of god. They say it is gods eye looking at us. I don't know what to believe but it seems pretty neat and it looks like an eye

  • lol that's the helix nebula. It is very beautiful, I agree. In the center lies a star that is turning into a white dwarf

  • Uhm w00t? I'm pretty sure that it is called eye of god..

  • well...it's a nickname that some people have given it. But the real name is the "Helix Nebula". Some people don't believe in God...some do...scientists use a name not related to religion.

  • i love Steve roach i love to read while listening to his stuff

  • Wow I feel so insignificant yet so incredibly happy at the same time. Thank you.

  • Its all so mesmerizing, and its only a tiny fraction of all that there is to see. Its interesting how our origins always seem beautiful to us. Our atomic origins(space), our cellular origins(oceans), our prehistoric origins(forests) always draw us in.

  • Thank you for your thoughts... it means alot :)

  • not all of these are real pictures though right? there's some artist concepts?

  • You're right...a few images are taken from the the movie, "The Fountain"...and one is from the book, "Robot Visions" by Isaac Asimov.

  • Hi! Nice video. I like the cool stars and galaxys!

  • Yea they're beautiful hehe

  • 1:10 looks like an eye amazing!!!!!

  • It's the eye of God...

  • absolutely LOVE the video. good job dude

  • Thank you :D

  • Space, so close and so distant..at least for the average man. Whenever I see pictures like those represented in this excellent video, I always wonder if someday we´ll be able to make sense of all this.

  • Thank you... if we never get to travel in space at least we know that we are made of the same stuff stars are made of... as Carl Sagan would say... we are all star stuff.

  • Yes, I couldn´t agree more....that´s why I find it hard to believe that we are alone in the universe. I like to think that there are others sharing this wonder with us..

I´d be too selfish thinking the opposite..

    Good luck!

  • suxh a beautiful video

  • I'm glad you think so ^^

  • wow, take this is as a loving meditation on the gift we are a part of!

  • ^^ it feels like any place in the entire universe is home ~,~
