The Bulborbs are quite beatable if you lure them into bomb rocks with only a captain. Wipes out a lot of their hitpoints!

You can also stun them with purples, just like almost every other enemy in the game--Even the Fiery Bulblax.

Yeah tell me about it. the only time i lost Pikmin was to the falling boulders, and then 3 to that freakin orange bulborb. Always best to use purples on those things. Then i lost 8 to emperor bulblax, but i didn't mind cuz i new he was a bit hard so, yea.

Those pests, the Bulborbs, seem to have retreated from the wood compared to last time i was here which led me to think that they had a nest somewhere around, now it's been unearthed, yet I feel that a certain trial I faced before may be here... the pikmin are very brave to confront these creatures who have ruled the ecosystem and nearly made them extinct, Louie strangely rejected going down the hole, as he heard menacing shrieks, and the pikmin had to drag him...then i said there'd be food!
