I didn't ask what Facebook was. I asked specifically about the calendar, which I had never heard of before.

The facebook calendar just tells you when the events that you said you were going to or thought you might go to will happen. It also tells you which events your friends might or will be going to and when they will happen.

Finally it informs you of their birthdays.

facebook natively supports this feature. on the bottom click the event icon and near the top there's a link that says export events. there you go. works exactly like fbCal
