You get the bombs (& arrows) from the Wishing Well in the cave on the island in the middle of Lake Hylia. For every 100 rupees you throw in, the fairy shows up & asks you which of the 2 (bombs or arrows) you want more of. You can get a max of 50 bombs & 70 arrows. There are areas with large rupee amounts that really help get the number of rupees needed to max out.
Big rupee amounts include a 100-rupee treasure chest in the room with the cannon balls in the Eastern Palace (1st Light World dungeon), a 300-rupee chest in the hole in the cemetery that leads to that sealed part of Hyrule Castle you couldn't get to before (see Part 13), a 300-rupee chest in the sealed cave south of the Bomb Shop in the Dark World that you have to bomb open (the Bomb Shop is where Link's house is in the Light World) & two 300-rupee chests in the Village of Outcasts.
I got the Red Shield by throwing the Blue Shield in the Waterfall of Wishing (same place you get the Magical Boomerang). The Moon Pearl is the item you get from the Tower of Hera. You can see me getting the Red Shield in Part 12 of the walkthrough and the Moon Pearl in Part 16.
You need to go to the wishing well at the middle of Lake Hylia & throw in rupees. For every 100 you throw in, the Fairy offers you a chance to increase the max # of bombs or arrows. You can get 50 bombs max & 70 arrows max. It's best to collect big rupee amounts (100- & 300-rupee amounts) before going there. The cave west of Lake Hylia with the Mini-Moldorms has a guy who gives you 300. The room of Hyrule Castle you enter from the Cemetery that you couldn't before has many too.
Other places with many rupees are the Eastern Palace where you get the 1st Pendant of Virtue. It has a treasure chest in the opening room of the dungeon. Also the cave you bomb open south of the Bomb Shop in the Dark World has a fox who gives you 300 rupees. The Bomb Shop is where Link's House is in the Light World.
to be honest i knew bout not needing whirling blade, but thats not really a big deal.
also you can do dark world dongeons in any order as long as you get the items treasures from first 4 and #6 (actually dongeon 4 only requires the hammer)
I know, but the only Zelda game I really skip ahead & then go back to finish dungeons is the first one on the NES, and mainly on the 2nd quest. One of the dungeons (I think it's the 4th or 5th one) has a key that you need the Step Ladder for and you don't get the Step Ladder until the following dungeon (I think the 6th one). So I usually go to the 6th dungeon first & get the Step Ladder & then start the 5th dungeon.
Also, as you know based on your comments, a big thing that quite a few people have asked me about was how I get to the Village of Outcasts & get the Cape so early in the game (w/o Titan's Mitt) & the key to that is that Transporter between the Lost Woods & Kakariko Village, which is very helpful and as you know necessary since you need it to skip from getting the Hammer to getting Titan's Mitt from dungeon #4 (Thieves' Town Palace). Once you get the Mitt, you don't need that Transporter anymore.
Hi! Im supposed to find this monkey called Kiki in the dark world and pay him like 100 rupees so he can let me in the palace, i read it should be on the way to the dark palace but i cant find him! any help?? im stuck! thanks
aw.. another thing... How do u stay human in the dark world!? I thought that finding the 3 pearls was enough... where can i get the moon pearl? thanks.. nice videos btw
Yes, Kiki is by the Palace of Darkness. If you go through the maze around the Palace of Darkness, you will find him while you're walking under those trees.
Check out Part 24 of my walkthrough and you'll see where to find him.
the weirdest thing ever happened to me in that game was that I got the moon pearl already and suddenly when i beat the wizard i had to get the moon pearl again.
Part 61. I just beat him again recently & realized that you don't even have to use the whirling blade attack to deflect his spells. Just swing the sword normally & it still deflects the spells.
At the end.....ILLUMINATI!!!!

You need to get the Moon Pearl from the Tower of Hera. It's the item of that dungeon.

How come sometimes the Master Sword fires projectiles and others it doesn't?
Sonicsultimatefan 1 year ago
@Sonicsultimatefan
It fires projectiles when Link's life meter is full just like the swords in the NES Zelda games.

surprising enough you can actually use the bug catching net to deflect agahnim's spells (seriously)
XOD555 2 years ago
I heard about that. It's similar to using the Shovel in Link's Awakening to deflect the spells of the Agahnim's Shadow form of the Nightmare.
I actually recently found out that you don't even need the whirling blade attack to deflect the spells. A simple swing of the blade works too.
