Yesterday at an official conference on its national security, western observers said hardliner president Mahmoud Admadinejad farted during his speech. Iranian officials downplayed the action but some consider it a direct shot at the West, said Israeli intelligence. Don't use the US model of democracy as yours. The US has a top down democracy meaning that the leaders are only from the elite class who would never be candidates without their money and who give orders DOWN to the population to follow. The US does not function democratically but it has a democratic shell and that is why universities call it a "polyarchy".
