I had the pleasure of meeting the jackson family in the Encino California Home in the early 80's and I have to say Joe was the perfect host and gentlemen. Micheal wasn't there but Rebe, Jackie, Joe, Kathrine, Tito and Randy was. I'll never forget that house! According to Kathrine, The decorations was to inspire the kids to think harder and dream bigger then they ever thought possible. I can't tell you just how beautiful that house was! Giant white marble statues against dark oak everywhere!

People can't keep pulling the "He's the reason Michael even made it" line because even though he gave him a start, Michael learned about the business and made himself the star he was by his own drive and motivation.
Michael made it to superstardom without Joe. He stated that in an interview.. Joe had nothing to do with the groundbreaking solo career of MJ.
Joe only gave him a simple start and you can't keep pulling that as an excuse to justify his violent behavior.
