That looks like cerebellar hypoplasia and a VERY severe form of it. Some disabled cats do fine and I'm ALL FOR not just throwing an animal away because it has a limitation. My own cat was surrendered THREE TIMES before 6 mo. old because he's deaf. Perfectly healthy, but deaf. A lot of paralyzed cats do great too. But this animal has NO quality of life and it's not fair to do this to her.
I love cats, and dogs, too. A special need with a cat is fine...to an extent. This, however, seems more cruel to let this poor cat live. It sickened me when she took the cat out of her walker. She can't stand, sit, move normally, eat or drink. There has to be a limit where you realize a cat's quality of life is so low that it'd be far more loving to put her to sleep. This cat is beyond that limit in my opinion, FAR beyond. Awesome people here, and again, I love cats...enough to let this one go.
These have got to be most Human People I have ever seen on YouTube! No words can do this scene justice. You have to watch. Its just Amazing. God Bless these people PLEASE.
You should share this with a Yahoo group I used to belong to, "Cats with Paralysis". They try to help cats and this contraption may work for some of the members kitties.
Oh wow this is awesome, i want to make one for my kitten, he is a CH kitten, he cant walk of even sit up on his own, oh and here is an idea for you, get your kitty a baby playpen, i have one for my kitten and he has more room to move around in and its just perfect for him(cant get hurt in it). Thanks for sharing this with everyone!
I meant that CH is congenital, not from being dropped.
