  • I agree, William Goldman is a true inspiration, and I read many of his books. Adventures in the screen trade is a masterpiece. And i loved Which Lie did i tell.

  • Forget Robert Mckee or Syd Field, if you want the best writing advice read William Goldman's "Adventures in the screen trade" and "Which lie did I tell".

  • William Goldman is the man, and he's an inspiration to every person who needs to write.

  • I've read almost everything Goldman has written and recommend all his work. It's interesting that someone had to comment to Goldman on how all his work involve terrible things happening to the main characters before Goldman realised it himself.

  • Frightened of boring the reader. The most valuable fear for any writer. If anyone has a dream of becoming a writer in any capacity, the works of William Goldman is the only place to start. He'll teach you everything you need to know. Great man.
