Frankie Beverly (& Maze) is one of the greatest gifts to music. I remember seeing him in DC. Maze was the last act and they play past the last train leaving DC to Balto. An announcement was made that the train time was extended to accomodate the people. When they came on stage, they partied and didn't stop; and the whole stadium was fired up.
did you hear the lady doing the interview?...please watch it over and listen to her in the background when Frankie is talking about Marvin Gaye! she's so cute but she was laughing so hard you'd swear she sneaked a couple of tokes from a doobie before they sat down together! lol I loved her laugh,...it's was like she was drunk and laughing uncontrollably,...and if the cameraman had made the mistake of putting the camera on her at that moment,...it would've shown her feet straight up in the air!
