I find the Talk Talk version to be superior due in large part to the atmosphere created by the layering of keyboards. In addition this version gets an added bit of power from Mark Hollis' vocals during the chorus. He sounds really impassioned, more so than Stefani. And on a minor note, I enjoy the drum fill that leads into him singing the line, "It's my life." Whenever I hear the No Doubt version I expect to hear those drum fills but, nope.
