I live in the Jura mountains (other side of France), and we get that kind of snow here every winter. That said...it doesn't make very good snowballs unless it's melting. The kind of snow there was the powder - you saw how it skitterd over the surface when you moved your feet? It doesn't bind together very well. Snowboarding is much better than skiing. And easier to learn. Your legs can't act independently of each other x.X

I have never seen snow in my lifetime. That looks amazing. Being an Aussie though I am very much a beach person.... as long as there is sand or grass, no rocks thankyou. It is so nice to see Mr Llew refreshed and happy.

we had snow like that here in spring of 2001 if I recall. It was great. maybe you just arent a beach person Robert...more of a snow kinda guy :)
