  • oh and what did you use to decorate it? is wrapping paper to flimsy or do i have to use something stronger?

  • @SianzxClaudzxM Wrapping paper will be to flimsy. But you can use a cereal box and cover that.

  • can you use A3 paper?

  • @SianzxClaudzxM You can use any paper you want.

  • @thewishingstar1 thanks will be sure to get it!!!

  • Did anyone else notice that she never taught us how to make the spine for the book? IT'S SPINELESS!

  • So u can just get it at michaels? (in Provo?) I live close there, but can u get it at like smiths or something...?? (any1 who knows plz help!!) oh, and also, great vid

  • @LilysCollection Look in the scrapbook adhesive isle. That's where I usually find it. Almost any craft store has it.

  • Can you use just normal tape or do you have to use that Adhesive tape please respond Anyone Can Respond If They Know!

( p.s I'm not sure if the red tape is adhesive tape)

  • @iEpicSkittlez The red tape I use is much stronger than regular tape. It''s called Incredibly Tacky Tape by Provo Craft. I get it at Michael's craft store. You can use regular tape but it won't last very long.

  • @thewishingstar1 Oooh ok. Thanks! also should i use Cardstock paper or normal white paper. ( i ask alot of gueistons Sorry!! )

  • @iEpicSkittlez That is totally up to you. Either one will work.

  • great

  • That was really amazing. I was wondering if i was making a large notebook/journal, how would i create a hardcover spine.

  • @no1NaturalChick Thank you. There's a video by tjbookarts called Bookbinding Casing In that might help.

  • Would it be a great gift for valentines day ? My bff likes handmade stuff :)

  • 5 people don't like journals :)

  • Thank you so much! :)

  • this was confusing

  • And then what happen to the spine of this book? Left open?

  • Comment removed

  • @PolloNut Yes. It's left open.

  • dude what about the spine?!

  • where do you get the red adheasive?

  • @GLCheerCrazy I get it at Michael's in scrapbook adhesive aisle. I think Scor-Tape works better but you can only get that online.

  • what song is this?

  • @kianna110 Eine kleine Nachtmusik, K. 525 IV. Rondo. Allegro by Orchestra "New Philharmony" St. Petersburg

  • You need a new blade on your cutting tool! (Painful to watch!)

  • @linennis I realized that a little too far into the video. It was painful for me too.

  • @thewishingstar1 I Must Ask Where Do You Get That Pink/Red Tape??

  • @kittycat42300 Michael's in the scrapbook adhesive section.

  • @thewishingstar1 Than you Very Much

  • Haha I have the same paper cutter as you

  • It's not quick,it makes a mess

  • instead of those sticky red strings can you use tape

  • @eteely As long as the tape is strong enough to hold the pages together it should be fine.

  • OH THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU FOR THIS WONDERFUL JOURNAL VIDEO YOU HAVE CREATED

  • @eteely You're welcome. I'm glad you like it.

  • What is the name of that green paper cutting tool? Cute idea :)

  • @J3nnBarnes It's a paper trimmer from Cricut. There's a lot of different brands that make paper trimmers. I got mine for $6 with my 40% off coupon at Joann craft store.

  • And its easy for you because you have a whole lot of stuff that average people don't have. It's cheaper just to go off and buy a normal notebook than buying all the equipment.

  • @mariap4495 I'm sorry you don't like the video. The materials I have are basic for people who scrapbook or do a lot of other paper crafting.

  • @mariap4495 And to add on to @thewishingstar1 's comment, it's a great way for us paper crafters to use up our scrap supplies and our hoarded stashes. I loved this video, glad I found it. Thanks!

  • @sojournes Thank you Sojournes.

  • @thewishingstar1 I don't mean I don't like it, I'm just saying that not everybody has all the equipment. I'm sure that people who do a lot of things like this have this equipment. I just needed a quick journal that you only need a few things to make it but it will look very good anyways. I like the way this journal turned out. It looks as if you bought it in a shop, but like I said I wouldn't be able to make this because it will cost me too much.

  • I wouldn't say this is quick if you have to fold about 40 pages in half

  • @mariap4495 This journal only has 10 pages. But you can make it as big as you want.

  • @SuperJaidyn Any craft store should have it. Look in the scrapbook section.

  • I have a question. That is a really cool glue thingy. Do you know what is called? I want to get on at target. Btw, Real cool! I will use this!

  • @SkittlezAK It is called a tape runner or adhesive runner. Many manufacturers make them. I'm currently using Tombo Mono Adhesive in permanent. I get them at Michael's, Joann or Wal-mart.

  • @thewishingstar1 how do you make the spine?

  • @vanessa2949 It doesn't have a finished spine. The folded edge of the pages are the spine.

  • @thewishingstar1 Oh. Okay then thanks.

  • It was on my book and I am sorry about the spellings as I am typing on my iPod touch

  • If only it had spruce of material fir the spine

Still it's one if the vest book videos I've ever seen thanx

  • @rosie56555 Thank you. I wish the spine was better too.

  • awesome video, thanks for sharing.

  • @danieljval Thank you.

  • Wheresthe spine tutorial >.> good vid though

  • @MalusvirZechin It' doesn't have a finished spine. In other words the folded edge of the pages are the spine.

  • @thewishingstar1 Awh man oh well still one of the most simple/beautiful notebooks evaaaaa xD

  • What brand of glue do you use?

  • @PresidentMercury In the video I used Terrifically Tacky Tape by provo craft. I have also used the Quick-Dry Adhesive liquid glue from Scotch.

  • @thewishingstar1 Thank you! Also, where did you get the paper cuter that you use at the beginning? (the green one that you cut the cardstock with).

  • @PresidentMercury I bought it at Joann Craft store. Michaels has it too. Check in the aisle that has the paper punches and other scrapbook supplies.

  • so fun thanks!-1

  • awesome tutorial! i definitely have to try this!

    :DD

  • whats that tape called.?

  • @MoniqueShantelSongz Terrifically Tacky Tape by provo craft. I buy it at wal-mart or michael's.

  • @thewishingstar1 thanks. how much is it.?

  • @MoniqueShantelSongz

I think it's about $3. It's usually in the scrapbook adhesive aisle.

  • Wonderful, 5 stars!!!!!
