definately gives ya something to work with, throw pine needles on or something... i've done this a few time when i was whitetail hunting in deep snow and was gettin cold. use your lighter fluid as a quick start. just hold the button down but dont spark it. put the nozzle end of it down in the "fuzz" and let it sit for a few seconds. then start it. it goes up alot hotter and faster. the "fuzz" will then hold red embers and you will have a little somethin to work with for about 5 minutes.
