I used it before and never had a problem. I'm so bummed out because now I have to wait until I have the money to fly him cargo. He's 11 lbs. now. He just went to the vet today.

She didnt want to sleep in my room, so she slept with my shnauzer, cinder. But she does obey me(lol obey me dog) and always walks up to my door when im sleeping

@MikiFH They are very loyal and yes they do give love back. Bebe sounds so adorable. If I am watching TV downstairs and I fall asleep, Teddy gets up on the sofa and starts barking and licking my face to wake me up so we can go upstairs to bed. I love him so much.

I wonder if they are getting cheaper because of the economy. My one friend, who is a licensed breeder of small dogs, has sold his dogs a lot cheaper than he should have he said. Can you tell me where you bought your dog? I would love to mate Teddy. I personally think Morkies are cuter than Yorkies or Maltese alone. I heard that Designer Breeds might be accepted into AKA I think it is. So, if that would happen they could be shown at dog shows.

Yes and a $1000. for his brother who was from a local breeder. They cared more about the dog than me. My family and I were interviewed first, which is the right thing to do. These dogs are, "designer breeds" and there is a market for them.

Yes, I did find that out. Teddy is about 4.5 lbs right now. I have to weigh him again. When I got Charles, Teddy learned to eat very fast and put on some weight. He looks so cute here. I love this video.

I love Teddy and he was worth rescuing from a pet store. This particular one does a lot of business and the clientele are decent people from a small town. However, Charles, was from a breeder. I prefer to get dogs from a breeder, but I love Teddy so much. He's huge now!

I was just really upset someone would say I didn't take care of him...he was born with this problem and didn't show signs untill about 5 months of age...we tried to do everything but he went down hill sooo quickly....really sad....now I am fighting with the breeder for my money back! Morkie's are prone to alot of health problems.....mine died at 7 months old...they inherit the many health problems of both Maltese and Yorkies combined.....wish you the best of luck...I now know that their are many animals just as cute in the local shelter, that aren't bred for money! $1000??? AW! God Bless him! You get so attached to them too. I just love Teddy and Charles. Charles really took to my 8 y.o. son and he sleeps with him every night. well, i usually keep an eye on her in the yard every 10min and in the winter we put a carrier in the house for her to sleep in. now she sleeps on the pourch in her dog house and she has an extra bed on the pourch to.when i would put my dog in a pen she would scale like a parrot walking on the side of it's cage and as you know she got out.so we keep her on the pourch during the day.cause she is soo small. shes only about 5-7pounds now thats is big as she will get.

lol! We tried the kennel at first which was as big as my room. At first I felt bad, but then I thought, "Hey, my room is about the same size and usually I am in there!" lol! Especially, in the Winter. Well, the terrier mix actually chewed through the chain link metal and squeezed out. I went through two of them and I like them to have their freedom. Yes, they wreck the grass. Oh, well what are you going to do? They love to run. Your dog is silly too! It is funny watching the two.

She was 5 years old too. My screen name is her name Mia and she was born 8/99. I have a male rottweiler who no one would be able to steal and a terrier mix, Rocky. Yes, it is important to spend time with all of them. Rocky and Larz are both males and the best of buddies. They run free in the yard. They aren't chained and they reside in the heated garage which is attached to the house. So, they have their own room and a good life. They come in when they want to.

She was really his dog even though I bought her. She loved him so much. He doesn't like Teddy because I am close to him.

I saw an interview on Animal Planet with the second generation breeders of rottweilers. They said it had to do with irresponsible breeders selling rottis to irresponsible people that give them a bad name. They said that rottis want to please their owner. I don't even have command words for attack. The dogs will know when I am in imminent danger.

I would love to close puppy mills. I hear about these breeders being arrested. The dogs do not have room to move in their crates and their legs are often amputated. They have diseases, kennel cough and are still suffering. This is so wrong. On a happier note, most of the pitbulls that Michael Vick had were able to be saved and not euthanized. They were adopted out because they didn't show signs of agression. I have a terrier mix (pit bull) who is so friendly to everyone. I also have a rotti.

The rotti and terrier mix (Larz&Rocky) are the best of friends. Actually, I had two large crates for each of them. However, Rocky (terrier) cried and whined and he had to be put in the same crate with Larz. It is so cute. Rocky lays his head on Larz back. They both think they are still pups. I let them run free in my backyard so they get their exercise. They go hiking sometimes when the weather is cooler and they love it. Everyone is afraid of these breeds, but my dogs aren't. They get love.

Yes, I do and my other Morkie was bought from a reliable breeder. I would never buy another dog from a pet store. Breeders are so different. They interview the family first before they even sell a puppy. They don't care about the money as much as the puppy. They are with their mother's longer. I was able to meet the sire. I am still very glad that I bought Teddy because I love him so much. I know he is in a good home.

I feel responsible breeders are fine. I bought Charles, the other Morkie, from a licensed breeder. He was with his mom longer and they actually interview the family before they sell you the dog. They don't care about the money. I have an 8 y.o. son and they told me that they wouldn't sell a teacup puppy to us. If we couldn't keep the dog, even years from now, we should bring the dog back to them and not to a shelter. Not everyone can handle a big dog and, unfortunately, most are at shelters.

I watched about 30 seconds of it to the point of the soldier throwing the puppy which I saw before and was hoping it wasn't real. I can't watch anymore. These dogs are going to be tortured whether or not people adopt. They should do life in jail. They are evil bastards. In most of these cases it wasn't so much as neglect as it was a premeditated, tortorous act. I watch Animal Planet and the Animal Police on there. I am so outraged now.

So, I have met my limit unless I have a breeder's license. The toys, Morkies, are so easy to take care of. I have a fenced in yard for the big guys to get their excercise so they aren't too hard. Actually, my rottie walks very good for me because I have a really bad back. When my larger breeds die, I probably will adopt.

some dogs enjoy grooming some dont. when my dog went to get her nails cliped the vets had to hold her tight and anothor person had to hold her feet and another had to trim the nails when they were cliping she made like a alien dog face, a with mouth made her look evil! but she is a very sweet dog when her nails arent clipped when we give her a bath she wont even stay in, even with a leash. she only likes to rubbed and scracted behind the ears.and to lay in somebodies lap or the couch.

yea, i am not sure how to trim a long haried cause i had never had one.i read up on yorkies and malteases and there such a cute breed.they said trainng kinda easy but fore yorkies there hair has to be brushed and groomed at least 1 a month to the groomers and hair has to be brushed daliy or weekly.

It's probably better to take them to the groomers. I just gave Teddy a bath yesterday and combed him. He didn't have any knots. Charles is easier because his fur is straight. He doesn't like being combed. We just trimmed their nails yesterday also. Charles has a natural part down his back and hs fur is combed or brushed straight down. They have been swimming a lot too.

I think they are cute too! Charles will probably have really long hair and if I don't trim it, it would probably go the floor. I'm not ready to trim him yet. Teddy is cute too. I think they are cuter that they are mixed. Actually, Charles has a blue fur which is a grayish blue.

I love them too! I saw an add for teacup morkies, but they are too small lol! The father was only 2 lbs. I couldn't even imagine having a dog that small. My son is too young also! He will be 8 y.o. on the 21st and most breeders wouldn't even sell them because of this. Morkies are pretty tough. Teddyis about 6 lbs now and if you accidently step on his foot it's not going to break.

Well, I have a rotti, American Staffordshire (bully breed dog), and this little guy. Teddy is the only one who occupies the house. They have the garage which is heated.
