Interesting overview! I learned a lot about social networking spaces, how they work and what their appeal might be in terms of Maslow's hierarchy. Nice subtle metaphor about moving from slow moving trains to "taking off" with impressive statistics about use. The web pages were a little fuzzy, but I got the idea of what they do and it made me want to visit them. As a former Director of Curriculum, it really got me thinking about how this technology could be infused into teaching and learning.
