Ppl should only blame them selves because humans breeded pitbulls to fight and now that dog fights are banned you can't undo the entire breed.

I lived with a pitbull since I was 2 month and he died 3 years a go.

criminal charges should be laid against the irresponsible owner!!.. the problem as the woman said is in the owners not the breed, it should also be noted that the dog was not in fact a pit bull but a mixed breed or mutt but yet again the breed as a whole ends up taking responsibility. My sympathy goes out to the parents and family of the child, I hope jusice is done and the babysitter/owners of the mutt are charged.
