  • thats badass

  • No explosions in the cylinder. :(

  • Ah ha ha ha! cool cool!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I think your sculpture professor is grading a bit hard, we're lucky to get a B and the prerequisite of success did not include motion! =O

  • whats the mpg? XD

  • hahah oh no get it there is some thing move the Crank shaft on other side coz it's impssible to get action in case no source of energy if u had it plz tell us

  • hahah good job but u can do some thing better than it by remove this metal whos around of pistion coz it'll lose the miss enrgy from the Friction betwen the piston and sylnder and we know that Friction factor betwen two pices of glass is too low and u can get more Thermal efficiency and u should tell us how much of ur engine thermal efficiency

    thanks genous

  • Wow! Amazing :) I'm impressed!!

  • Good work, i work as a constructor at a science center and love to see that there are dedicated young people in school.

  • Thats sick. no lie

  • No fire = Fucking lame

  • what the fuck kinda firing order is that?! lmao still cool tho

  • Gnarly shit

  • anyone remember the "visible v8"? yeah i built it when i was 9. no kidding.

  • @ SIXINASTANG... Man, I'd like to apologize for all the "MEN" on here that are acting like little girls. Name calling and trolling seems to be the only way they can keep their self esteem at a level that wards off suicide.

BTW, thanks for posting your model... pretty cool.

  • Now build some acrylic cylinder heads that have a working camshaft, and hit me up. Cool project.

  • how much horsepower does that thing put out?

  • y upside down ?

  • Those were the days ... GM Rocket V-8.

  • It's amazing how videos get some comments. It is a sculpture made while in college!!!!! Plain and simple! It was not meant to replicate a real engine. How can a video like this start a pissing contest? Please, just watch the videos on youtube and if you like them, just move on.....

  • damn thats cool. Almoost sounds like a real car engine. Great job bro!

  • im 16 and i can build an engine, big deal, its not that hard to do if you have the patience, I bet every kid in my shop class could build one, in much less than 3 months, they just dont put the effort in, I do and wohoo, 2 classes 3 maybe, depending the motor, I,m planning on dropping a b16 v-tech into my civic, nerds can get it done, and with that, who here has the right to judge, telling people what you can do on a computer is nothing, we could all be world famous physiologists, but were not..

  • Pretty cool.

  • What happens when a jellyfish is fed CNC data from GM to its DNA!

  • @curtknows101, 7th grade!!! WOW that's so cool!!! you must be really rich and important which explains all the free time you have to comment on YouTube videos.

  • @sixinastang No in fact im not rich and important but when your car breaks its a dummy like myself that knows how it works, so maybe i am important at times, i rekkon, sorry i hurt your feelings college boy!!!

  • @curtknows101 If everyone goes to college, who will left to do our boots? A 25 years college boy will be your boss in the next years, that is the ugly part.. for people like you. I'm a lawyer and i still fix my own cars (when i have time for this...hobby). But you are right on one thing, i realy need people like you to pay them 30€ for the hard work (remving an engine, gear box etc) because i do not want to kill my back. I work with my brain, not with my back.

  • @TheAndreiul Well lets meet up and see if i got enuff back to slam u on that smartass head of yours, when it comes to dog eat dog college boy i will live in your house and eat your food while your wife rubs..... think you get the picture and apparently im smarter than you anyhow, you educated moron, building plastic useless engines when your twenty lmaoff!!!!!!!

  • @curtknows101 While I may have built that "shitty model" for a sculpture class when I was 20, I'm now 28 and out of college as an internationally award winning designer and Professor at a well respected school with several patents of stuff that guys like you use every day to make a living. I didn't want to go down the road of self pride, however you seem quite persistent in making a complete ass out of yourself. You may be able to fix a car but can you fix your arrogant nature?

  • @TheAndreiul Ane apparently they dont require you to be able to spell when your a lawyer you root smooching pecker tasting bitch!!!!!!

  • @sixinastang lmao thats funny as hell an just cause YOU were a grease monkey like me in the seventh grade doesn't mean shit about this model which is pretty neat being able to see everything would have definately helped me learn in the beginning but @curtknows101 don't be a douchebag an no sixinastang mechanics don't make much so laugh at his arrogance next time you go to the bank XD lmao

  • @sixinastang lol burn

  • @sixinastang lmao perfect reply

  • @curtknows101 Little chinesse put together kits do not count.

  • @curtknows101 so gay...

  • thats only half an engine need heads and at least working valves for me to be impressed.

  • people are just weird

  • now put some spark plugs on it and add some gas

  • someone doesn't know how to hold a camera..

  • That is a nice piece of work!

How long did it take to make it?

  • that wouldent last a fart in a whoorlwind...

  • V8 Dodge , lol!

  • coolness

  • I feel retarded cause wen I clicked on this I though to myself for a second that it actually used gas and was a plexiglas replica of a v8 in it's entirety producing horse power smh

  • its a lemon

  • can you rev it to 10k? ahahaha no vtec! lmao

  • @BloodyFingerz, i had a little hobby engine that was just laying around and got sick of it one day so i found a way to rig up a drill that turned 8500 rpm, she lasted quite a bit, even went as far as putting oil in it but at that rpm for that small of an engine it started foaming then i guess it actually got some sort of pressure in one of the cyclinders cause it blew the head off the right side. she started leaking oil and then i snapped the crank in half and she was done for... very very fun

  • They need this at ATI. They are sucking! SMH!

  • The mains on your crank are way off centre

  • Aww sweet!!! Finally something that will make my Honda go faster!!

  • The timing's a little off. Otherwise, amazing project!

  • Now make it really work on air or something like that.

  • montey1017 is a very respectable and wise individual. I would heed his advise.

  • make a cam and valves for it, with LED's as spark plugs...the sky is the limit on potential here

  • if its real, super high compression

  • probably the coolest art project ive ever seen

  • Too bad the pistons would totally crunches the spark plugs!

  • dude that pretty awesome man.

  • I think your motor is knocking. You should get that checked out... :D

  • Is it just me or is it annoying when people video sideways and upside down like you can flip your screen...?

  • build a header for it and a valve cam system and make it a comprest air engine.: )

  • sounds like a v8 to me

  • low compression! lol jk pretty cool

  • Some kids made a 6Cylinder engine out of fischertechnik in my highschool engineering PLTW class.

  • next up tp 1,500 rpm

  • Sounds like a Chevy...

  • already sounds like diesel

  • i think the crank is a bit off...odd firing pattern eh?...pretty neat tho lol

  • Cool. I saw a glass block and heads with chrome crank, pistons, and valve train in Stillwater Ok at a junk yard. For making this in school it looks great.

  • @Scarboy1096 I think they made those engines for the oil shows in Tulsa OK about 1957 - 1965.

I remember seeing a few engines like you describe at the oil shows.

They had see through mud pumps too. Really interesting things to see there.

  • @slinky460 if you read the description he made it himself

  • @simcaP60fan I know. I was talking about the glass engines that scarboy1096 seen at the junk yard in Stillwater OK. There were Oil Shows back in the late 50s and early 60s where all the oil rig manufactures would show their products. They had huge displays of all their equipment including glass engines and mud pumps. Cardwell had one of the best displays there.

  • oddly hipnotising...

  • so awesome

  • freaking awsome!!!!!!!!!!

  • where cani get plexiglass at?

  • @GladiatorGage I guess you want plexiglass to make a model?.If that's the case, let me tell you something. if you don't know where or how to find plexiglass. I don't know how you'll ever have the brains to make a model out of it.

I'm just saying there's a level of intelligence that you might need to acquire before moving to the model making stage. So maybe work on that first, O.K

  • be a lot better if it actually had heads on it and produced power

  • @shupster369 heads ruin the coolness

  • holy shit its Tony Stark

  • is the firing order accurate/correct on this?

  • 12 rpm

  • Sounds a bit tired, maybe it needs an overhaul. The idea is great anyways. How about attaching a functioning valve system to the engine? That would be cool...

  • might wanna add some oil sounds as if your getting a rid knock

  • so where is the engine part??

  • Dude, u should do a four cylinder!

  • Awesome project man.

  • try making a rocker engine. see one of my vids.

    has no side wall friction

  • pretty cool model...well built!

  • @sixinastang Would love to see a finished working fuel burning model.

  • amazing only if you could finish it i would love to see it!

  • Actually this has more power then a mustang...

  • @tnizzle916 Translation : I can't get girls in my slow import.

  • awesome man

  • I'll take the bus

  • Attach dildo's to it

  • @limeroundup HaHa!! great idea buddy ... lol.

  • hhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

i like it, hell funny visual hahahha

  • @limeroundup LOLOLOLOL just spewed MTN Dew all over my computer monitor

  • @limeroundup

    LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @limeroundup hahahahaha now that would be a hell of a gangbang :D

  • @limeroundup wow

  • oh crap were is the oil hahah jk

  • Why am I getting turned on by this?

  • 1 horse power :)??

  • It sounds like a horse running on stone road ;-)

  • sounds like its turbo charged

  • that actually sounds really cool

  • nice work!

  • The piston and crankshaft are not indexed correctly. Even so, it sure looks cool.

  • And where are the cams and valves!?

  • 2 main bearings, yikes! Don't supercharge it!

    Looks cool!

  • ha awesome put a blower on it and throw it in a civic

  • This must be a chevy proto-type, and also the reason why chevy is bankrupt.

  • Fine job!

  • Ima throw this on my 5.0 stang

  • hook it up to a heat pump motor and see what it sounds like lol

  • Rev it! :)

  • neat

  • stroke is to long for the block and not balanced very well but other then that its pretty cool well done

  • @xX3movamp1reXx ... dude piss off. why dont you post the video of the engine you made out of plastic. o thats right mister expert u dont have one. ---->i hate know it all pricks<---

  • @mt12684 ok since u wanna be all pissy bout someone pointing out a few MINOR details in what was a comment actualy intended on praising him then fine ill point out this im an engine builder i KNOW what im talkin about and not just a know-it-all ive built engine for race cars for 5 years now so dont go callin people shit when u dont know shit dumbass

  • @mt12684 he does have a point and was said tastefully. no need to get hostile.

  • Comment removed

  • Sooooo Awesome !!!

  • timing is off , lol !

  • i am getting aroused...

  • i wish it had some fire (combustion)... even if it was just to make it look cooler

  • that has amazing horse power''

  • That's pretty neat. Do they have one of those for a rotary engine?

  • @jsullivan80 .... if you would read the description you would see that he made it.. not bought it

  • when i read the title i went wow this will probably be gay, and now i want one.

  • I WANT ONE!!!

  • convert it to an air powered all plastic v8 . . . that would be a golden egg my friend

  • i think the timings out, might preignite

  • wow nice art

    for a store engine

    nice bild men

  • did she die?

  • I think its running a bit lean ! ! !

  • That's pretty sweet man, lower the RPM, chuck a piece of glass over the top of it and there you would have one of the best coffee tables in the world

  • i dont think its timed right....

  • sounds liek the tieming is out

  • good on you mate, great work and to hell with any of the jealous wankers that criticise your work.dont let them wear you down.take pride in your abilities.they're obviously too buzy insulting people while hiding behind a keyboard to do anything constructive with their own miserable existances.

  • cam timing wrong

  • Cool. Now all you need is to have a plexiglass top on there, with plexiglass valves and cams and plexiaglass valve cover :)

  • as far as badsciroccois is concerened, his opinion is worth nothing.

as far as im concerened, i think itsabsolutly awsome, goob job mate

  • @Jaycalabria ur right it does

  • 0.00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001 BHP

lol good work though good model to show whats happening. maybe some valves next time

  • Зачем?..

  • rev it!

  • sounds like a horse

  • Hey thats awesome... I love engines of all kinds. I just wish I had the creativity to build something like that. Good work man. Thumbs up!

  • I'd love to make one of those! Still got the plans?

  • so simple how engines work yet so complicated at the sime time!

  • how much did that cost

  • Lol, briljant! :) It's usable for educational purposes.. like for my girlfriend who doesn't understand a bit from what happens beneath the bonnet of a musclecar. I like it a sculpture as well.. nice job.

  • Nice demo setup there :) It must've taken a while to make...

  • Does it have a warranty?

  • wow you guys are fucked up! y argue with a 62 chevy? buy a ford! lol i had to

  • I think you have a rod knock X)

  • Nice work!

  • YA the timing is off and the engine would tear itself apart! I bet hes slapping on some injectors and running that beast! Please amantonucci get real its a fuckin model! and its cool

  • How the fuck is the timing off? Shut the fuck up man.... Do you perhaps mean the throws on the crank aren't ground correctly?

  • @62chevrolet.. You need anger management bro, before you beat your ole lady for yawning the wrong way or something.. Don't bother replying cuz nobody likes a "youtube mechanic" PEACE DOG

  • i bet it has more power than a civic

  • @mooyousuck but less than a nissan lol

  • @mooyousuck 19 gays gave thumgs, people post a vid than comment, i bet you are civic owners.

  • @all4uromeo

    I think you are retarded.

  • @Snapper705 I already knew that, now you know that i am retarded DONT tell to your MOM because she wont let me sleep tonight.

  • @all4uromeo

Lets leave the mothers out of this, I left yours out last night.

  • dude shut up calm down we just meesin around. and even if i did own i civic i wouldnt care

  • @mooyousuck You fucking suck...oh wait...that´s your nickname O_o

  • @mooyousuck actually.. it has no power at all

  • @mooyousuck lmao u made my day

  • @mooyousuck id rather drive my civic tho.

  • @mooyousuck Very stupid comment,loser.

  • @mooyousuck I agree! LMAO I hate them Fart Cans they are so slow and lol NOT KOOL! HAHA

  • @mooyousuck

i bet my civic has way more power! i hired me an immigrant from mexico built him a seat under the hood and told him his pay was all the taco bell he could

  • Is that an LS1?

  • the timing is off.. the engine isn't balanced and would knock or tear istelf apart

  • @amantonucci it's a fucking sculture.

  • i belive the word your looking for is sculpture?
