Health care isn't like that in Canada.... i can see a doctor at anytime... i can walk in a clinic or hospital at any time if its something major you get first priority if not well you might wait 2-6 hrs depending where and what you treatment you need. If you are a life or death situation treatment is instantaneous..... and in Ontario doesn't cost you anything...

I live in France, our healthcare system is just fine. It's not perfect but at least everybody gets treated, and it's NOT socialized, I cannot stress that enough. We have a system that mixes private and public quite successfully.

Before moving to Europe, I assumed the U.S. health care system, at least for those like me who had a good insurance plan, was the best in the world. I have been to the hospital here for about five different injuries/illnesses. I can tell you first hand that I have been treated better here than in the U.S.. I have no stress about obscene bills. Another huge benefit here is that I NEVER see mentally sick, physically ill, or physically ailing people living on the streets. America needs to change.

Health care isn't like that in Canada.... i can see a doctor at anytime... i can walk in a clinic or hospital at any time if its something major you get first priority if not well you might wait 2-6 hrs depending where and what you treatment you need. If you are a life or death situation treatment is instantaneous..... and in Ontario doesn't cost you anything...

I live in France, our healthcare system is just fine. It's not perfect but at least everybody gets treated, and it's NOT socialized, I cannot stress that enough. We have a system that mixes private and public quite successfully.

Before moving to Europe, I assumed the U.S. health care system, at least for those like me who had a good insurance plan, was the best in the world. I have been to the hospital here for about five different injuries/illnesses. I can tell you first hand that I have been treated better here than in the U.S.. I have no stress about obscene bills. Another huge benefit here is that I NEVER see mentally sick, physically ill, or physically ailing people living on the streets. America needs to change.

Not sure that Beck has been entirely consistent on this topic. After his hemorrhoid surgery 2 years ago, he went on a jihad over the awful quality of health care, even having his camera crew come to his hospital bed to record an anti-US healthcare rant.
Today he brays loudly that it is #1 in the world (we're actually somewhere between 19th and 48th depending on what metric you use.) To portray Beck as anything but a Limbaugh for the more paranoid and even less educated is a stretch.)

Yeah, he went off on a seminar caller who obviously hadn't ever listened to his show, because she would have KNOWN that Beck has been complaining about various bailouts going back to last fall, when they first started happening. Beck is not a Republican. He's a Libertarian. He doesn't trust Democrats OR Republicans. I guess after one gets a certain number of calls from clueless people who get talking points from Media Matters, one starts to melt down.
