I know the Joker must have said that about a hundred times but I never did hear him say it.

The first time I saw the Joker was when Jack Nicholson played him. After killing his old boss, he reads the newspaper and says one of my favorite lines ever;

"'Winged freak terrorizes'? Wait'll they get a load of ME!"

Same here. Heath made my spine tingle and I saw it in French first. The one who translated did a great job.

Jack Nicholson is my second favorite, and Mark is my favorite for doing the voice in the cartoon version. He's done it since day one, which I think will put a lot more pressure on the next one who will do the voice. Maybe people won't like him so much like they liked the actors that played the Joker.

I know what you mean. The laugh is what makes the Joker what he is. Not the makeup. Jack's was symmetrical as if it was part of his face, and Heaths was poorly applied you can say, cause he just didn't really care about it (in the film of course).

Mark on the other hand only had to speak the role, and laugh at the right time. He has many laughs for the Joker.

ya, it's unfortunite mark hamill can't play the joker in the next batman movie, he has the voice and the laugh, but he doesen't really look able enough to be physicly equal to batman (of course the batman's and joker's fights stem beyond just fist's and punches and kicks and throw's, i think there fight's are played our phsycologicly more then anything else, which is what i find really unique about the joker and batman relationship :P)

You never know what the Joker is up to, "do I really look like a guy with a plan?" and yet everything that happens, he did plan.

I love how he does what he does cause he's either bored or wired. He says he wants his phone-call when he's bored (The Dark Knight), and let's himself get punched, for kicks ha ha ha ha ha ha.

Freeze is the one I like the least. Because of Schwarzenegger. He played him, a bad guy, but then turns to the good side again. They only did that cause it's Arnold. The other one's had reasons sure, but other than Catwoman (in the movie, she wanted revenge) they did it for control and did not mind killing a few people that were in their way.

The Joker is just plain nuts. I love that. Being unpredictable makes it hard for us to guess what the Joker might do in the movie.

You should read the graphic novel of Batman; Black and White, they have a short story about how the Joker became how he is, and insane, the reason is a pretty good one I must say.
