Watching second time, so beautiful, gentle and memorable. Love the music, it's a wonderful choice of a beautiful composition. Thank you so much for a pleasure of watching.
@NadiaComposer Thank You for your comment :-) I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I'm happy to add your nice video to the responses.. Thanks for stopping by!
Thanks for stopping by for the view and commenting! Yeah we get many hummingbirds up this way for about 5 or 6 months. Mainly the Ruby Throated though.. Hummingbirds are my favorite to watch :-)
Lovely footage, looking forward to using the HDR-CX100, although it would be a challenge to get such a wonderful shot, you did GREAT! What's that music, btw?
Thank You! You will love the HDR-CX100 and want to start recording everything LOL! I have a couple more Hummingbird videos in waiting because You Tube's AudioSwap is not working at the moment. I will post them as soon as they get it fixed.
The song here is by Musicshake called Dawn Fog. I used the AudioSwap feature here at You Tube. If you click on the Statistics & Data above you will see it there. Thanks for watching and commenting and enjoy your new camcorder whenever you may get it :-)
Wow. Perfect way to sell the crap out of the hdr cx100. This looks amazing! Was thinking about picking one up before my girlfriend's birthday, so i could film a trip to seattle i'm taking her on in HD
I've always heard it's a nightmare to edit hd. True at all? I've got a pretty basic 2gb ram windows vista laptop. Would be cool if i could edit these in win movie maker
I would definately recommend the Sony HDR-CX100 Camcorder to anyone. I don't think you would go wrong in purchasing one.
As for editing HD, I'm using Windows XP on a Dell Core 2 Processor w/Quad Core and 4 GB Ram. I was worried about the editing myself but my system handles it great! You can't use Windows Movie Maker with HD though. I'm using a program called CyberLink PowerDirector 7 and it is quite simple to use and edit your HD videos. Good luck if you decide to purchase the CX100...
Those birds have got to be loving that "lazy-bird" footrail on your feeder! Looks like you got a little peek at the purple band on that last bird too - a Black-Chinned male. That's a hard shot to get. :-)
Being a newby of only a few weeks to these hummingbirds they have really gotten my attention. I wasn't sure what kind of feeder to buy so this was my first. I plan to buy other styles in the future to see how they do. They do love sitting there to feed though :-) Living here in Ohio I have been told we only get the Ruby Throated Hummingbirds so I'm not sure that the last bird is a Black Chinned male?? Would be nice to get the variety of Hummingbirds you get out West.. Thanks for watching...
I'm pretty sure that last bird is a Black Chinned male - that purple neckband is unique to that species. If you see any brownish/orange colored birds, you could also have Rufus and/or Allen's. Keep watching! :-)
Heck, you would know better than I. I hope I am getting different ones because I was a little disapointed being told that I would only see one kind out of what? 18 species of them. I'll be watching, thanks for the info :-)
All this happen weeks of time. from Waldo which is odlaw backwards I very much love nature but can't get out in it anymore as I am a cargiver to my wife. Have fun for me when you are enjoying it. I least I have my two hummers.
I'm glad that you have the hummers also to keep you close to nature, they seem to really like your company! I'm sure your wife is real glad she has you also :-)
I started out with the feeder about 15 feet from me. Kept still when they came. Moved it about 7 ft from me. Sat still. Moved it right next to me. Sat still. etc Talke to them low. Then a little louder. Now I can just about yell at them. Slow steps. Good luck
Yeah its only been about two weeks now since I put the feeder up so they are still getting used to me. I try to be outside near the feeder at times and was lucky to have one near me at one point. I'll keep it up to see how close they may come to me.
