This is too cute! But I do have one question & maybe you or other people who comment can help me with this! Okay so each outfit has accessories that go with it, but I noticed that they don't have layers tho. So I'll use the reindeer as an example the deer should be one color, the antlers another, holves another, but how do I accomplish this? Do I just print out multiple reindeers in different colors then cut out them to make one reindeer? Hope this made sense cuz I need help!! lol thanks!
What is the BEAUTIFUL song in the background? I love the site, but really just watched it 9 times to hear the music. Please let me know what the name and who the artist is, please.....Keep up the wonderful work.
I was worried that I should have ordered the Everyday Paper dolls today insted of the dress up cartridge......but I am excited to get it now!! Thanks.....I can't draw faces like you so I bought peachy keen faces too! TFS!
HEIDI!! You are a doll too!! And I love this song!! You are the bomb diggity!! So many told me about your youtube videos.. AM just starting to venture out to youtube and beyond! Love YA!! :)Kathy
Thanks for the ideas. I was wondering what you use to "glue" the pieces together. How do you layer pieces together that have a lot of open spaces or thin areas that need adhesive.
I love how the dolls pop when you add the embellishments/dots/faces! Thanks for sharing so many great ideas!
I also loved the scrapbook pages where you dress the dolls to match the kids in the photos, especially the t-shirt one.
I have this cartridge, and I'm excited to try some of your embellishment ideas, and I'll also have to go to the boards and find Diana's tutorial on faces.
Hi, thanks so much for the nice comments!! I took a black fine tip pen and drew along the lines that the cricut cut on the dolls/clothing. The faces were hand drawn. I hope this helps and that I answered your question.
I absolutely LOVE this cartridge. It's probably my favorite. I'm an Education Coordinator for a JoAnn store so I actually have to do Cricut demos about once a month and I have so much fun with this cartridge. Last time, I made a Michael Jackson doll! Complete with glittered glove and socks! I never thought to use chalk ink, though! What a great idea to give the pieces even more depth and character! Question is--Are you actually drawing all those lines on there? And what are you using for that?
Hi, I just use a peach color or a light tan depending on what color doll I'm trying to cut. I do not use any specific color. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.
Enjoyed it. I did a Farmer with the Paper Dolls. Just had to redo the shirt a bit to make the bib overalls and then put it on top of a different shirt which I cut in small plaid paper. Looked great. Would upload but don't see how to do that here. I did the mermaid, too. I sometimes use squiggle eyes. Did buy Peacy Keene stamps faces but haven't used them yet. Don't store as well as CTMH Acrylic stamps. So I've forgotten what I did with them.
Hi, Thanks for the comments about my paperdoll's eyes. I found a tutorial on the Cricut Message board by Diana. It was wonderful and I just practiced a bunch. Hope this helps. :)

You might try Aleene's TACK-IT over & over glue (not to be confused with Aleene's tacky glue) diluted in water to refresh your mats.
