Awwww That's a cute little carrot hey at least it was still alive, I once tried to grow a cactus, i figured they didn't need much watering but i ended up forgetting to water it and it almost died so i gave it to my mum, i think it's managed to survive in her garden.
@starletshay Well i had three different kinds of catcus, i had the prickly hairy thats the one your talking about right? the spines got loose and dug into my skin, it was a pain to get it out not to mention it irritates your skin........ so i don't blame you for being scared of the nocturnal attacking cactii :)
Have fun in Hokaido. I love the crab there. Also if you can make it to Asahidobutsuen you should try. They have a special train that you can ride on. All the seats look like stuffed animals.
