@SpeedDemonS7 That's all i really know about it.... that Ford built it once they took over. i believe it was their first "jaguar" that they built. first car to 220 mph hance the name. anything else is beyond me. i have no idea on specs for this car.

Good that you like this wonderful supercar, but please note that cars existed BEFORE NFS, GRan Turismo, Foraza Motorsport and such.

ya one of five dont we all wish we had one lol just the xj220 theres only 100 but the xj220s have only five ever made and one was crashed then restored so only 4 with original parts are left

i saw a 220S on the net at orange county lambo dealers and it had been updated with new headlamps and multi spoke chrome wheels and possibly 1 or 2 other minor things i cant memba but it did make it look more modern. it was on autoblog quite awhile back

I think it's the Gumpert Apollo. That particular one was one of the first ones to make it to the USA, and was one of the rare red+black ones too.

A couple of years ago a car sales garage we being demolished in the UK, the showroom had a hidden secret, the old owner had bought one of the few xj220 and bricked it in a corner without anyone knowing as a pure investment, i have no idea why he didnt claim it or what happened to it after.

originally they were £360,000. for a near on 20 year old super car, thats still pretty expensive. There is one near us in an auto museum. Silver/Blue, amazing.
