Don't you find daystate rifles to be overly expensive though? They are lovely quality but for a comparison the daystate ranger costs like £1200+ yet BSA's equivelent offering the R10 is like £670.
And i've shot both recently and i'd say the only thing the daystate was better for was the magasine. Certainly not worth paying more than 500 quid extra for.
Hi Ted, also I like HFT, shoot with HW 100 .177 in the set of Delta Optical Titanium 4-16 * 42 MD, great equipment for competition and for recreation. Produces excellent Daystate rifles, once fired from Air Wolf. I watch your videos on You Tube, well done, I'm impressed, greetings from Polish
All I can figure regarding the consistant power from 230-80 BAR is it must have an internal regulator, set at about 1000psi to keep the pressure consistant. That's a beautiful gun... wow!
@taofledermaus Yep - but the regulator is not a traditional mechanical reg (like in the Edgun or R10). The regulator in the MCT class of rifles is an electronic sensor that "tells" the solenoid valve how long to stay open. It is a remarkable piece of technology - completely different from traditional (mechanical) regulated PCP air rifles.
Hey Ted, Been watching vids for a while now and you won me over to make my first youtube sub ever (something I've been avoiding). Any chance you can do some vids on spring powered air rifles? I know they're aren't as juicy sweet as the guns you do but as you are a great informational channel as well as showing cool hunts. I just got full powered spring air rifle (SMK XS19), the highest power I can get without getting firearms licence here in UK. I found suprising lack of info of what to purchase
@EdgunUSA Thx 4 your Quick response Ted .. now do you remember that video Northern Flickers vs. Starlings neck shots ? i know you do>> lol.. plse TED I need to know if you can make a hunting video just like it and have the same results.Bcuz your big sence of sportmanship and extreme shooting experience .I belive the you can do it !
@EdgunUSA can you do or did you do a review on 850magnum CO2 powered? :) i am getting an airgun for christmas and would like to know if thats a good choice or not. thank you! love your vids, keep up the good work!:)
Hey dude, i like your videos, i am now shooting a beginner gun (gamo shadow 640 .177) and i maybe wanna start hunting, but i dont know if the gun is ok for it . Do you know if i can use the same gun?
@Bezemkast333 Inaccurate? Im sorry, daystate make the most accurate rifles I have ever fired...and I have owned many different rifles! Daystate are the very top of the range...
I have always had .22 cal. I can't wait to see what this gun will do hunting. Maybe I need a christmas present to myself in .177 cal !!!!!!!! Keep up the great work !!
@crazydrummer808 That would be a terrible hunter choice seeing as he would most likely just injure the poor thing and may not be able to find it to put it out of its missory
i'm still waiting on the review of that other budget gun... I'm considering asking for one for xmas. your brief thoughts pre-review? have you shot it yet? I'm also looking for a cheap, reasonably accurate, reliable break-barrel just for the ease of use and so I don't need an air cannister or a bicycle pump...
Hi Ted, thanks for the video! Been waiting every single day for it for a month now!
If you were to compete at FT, would you choose .177 or .22 for the MK4? I prefer .177, but believe maybe for longer ranges, the stability of the .22 will be more beneficial. Thanks for the help!
is that the pump you got from the shooting contest in arazona?
