TO EVERYONE ELSE: please do not judge all Jews by what combatvetlawstudent says. Most Jews recognize Messiah is meant, but they argue over WHO Messiah is, whether He is Jesus or someone Yet To Come. That debate has gone on for centuries.

A tiny minority of anti-semitic Jews claim that the Servant is Israel. They are of the group who defected to Iran, siding with it against Israel. They have high-sounding names as if they are the 'true' Israel. Rubbish.

It's all over the Mishnah, with which fakecombatvetlawstudent is blissfully unaware; it's all over Jewish literature during the intertestamental period, and of course history is full of Messiah claimants -- one of them, a guy nicknamed bar Kochba, in 132AD.

So be a real law student and look up the material!
